#977 - Strawberry Farm and Foods Shots this Tuesday.
Tune-Up Tuesday lovely Hive fam! 🎶 Today, let's adjust our rhythms.. slow beats count also. Our ‘flaws’ are just jazz notes in life’s symphony of Orchestra. Drop also the comparisons; your own paths needs your footsteps. Now go hum your own tune, snack or eat shamelessly but do exercise and remember: even seedlings crack concrete pavements to bloom. Shine your kind of bright like the sun😉! ✨ #TuesdayTruth #HiveHarmony🌱
And now for our daily shots, we spent a morning at a strawberry farm in La Trinidad, Benguet which was a delightful experience that engages all the senses. As we step onto the vast farmlands, we're greeted by a sea of lush, green strawberry plants and the sweet enticing aroma of ripe strawberries and then it's time to pick our own fresh strawberries right from the source, we filled a small basket costing around $20 which also includes the entrance fee. Plucking the plump, red fruits from the plants is definitely satisfying and you can't help but pop a few riped fruits into your mouth while savoring their natural sweetness.
The farm is a hub of activity with large crowds of visitors just like us who were eager to experience the same joy. There's a constant hum of excitement in the air and a drone flies overhead capturing the scene from above. There are also surrounding stores, which offer a variety of strawberry-themed souvenirs and treats. From jams to Keychain so there's something for everyone.
No visit to a strawberry farm would be complete without trying their signature strawberry-flavored ice cream. Creamy and sweet, it's the perfect way to cool down after a morning of picking. With the sun on the back and the taste of fresh strawberries in the mouth. It's an experience that's fun, educational and delicious.
After a morning of strawberry picking, a lunch at Cafe by the Ruins in Baguio is a perfect way to refuel and recharge. The cafe, nestled in front of their city hall amidst the city's cool, pine scented air. Our group decide on a bowl of Pinikpikang Manok, a chicken dish that's a local favorite and a variety of pasta noodles to satisfy everyone's cravings. After finishing off our meals, we then all bid Baguio City farewell and hit the road back to the nightmarish streets of Metro Manila with bellies full and hearts content from these and oth adventures.
