Moving on now to our daily shots was a day stepping into the National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila and it feels like traveling through time. The grand halls and high ceilings set the mood for a day of travel discovery adventure. As we walked through the different galleries, we awed at the masterpieces of Filipino artists from past generations that are too many to tell, I've lost track and count.
Some of the hallway revealed something new and delicate sculptures, modern art and even historical artifacts. The details in every painting like the brushstrokes, colors and emotions really made us pause and appreciate the talent of our local artists. Some works made us proud but all of them connected us to our rich past culture.
The museum wasn’t quiet because there's a lot of visitors too and serious aura as it was alive with stories. I imagined the artists lives and their struggles to complete their masterpiece. By the three in the afternoon, we left the area not just with photos but also with a deeper appreciation for our Filipino art and history.
