#975- Colorful Scenes in the Streets for Thursday.
Lovely Thursday dearest Hiveans, life's like a garden they say and it needs tending, patience and absolute love. Don't rush the growth and don't be afraid to cut away what doesn't serve you. Remember that even in winter times there's beauty beneath the icy surface which are waiting for their time to bloom. So, nurture those soil of yours, embrace the seasons and watch them unique blossom of yours unfold.
Now for our shots of the day in colors. A man in denim jeans and a jacket walked confidently down the side of thevasphalt road, the jeepney terminal behind him where he came from a ride. He walks with purpose and care from vehicles that navigate around him. The designated pedestrian path is to his side, where other people are walking.
Here's a scene at Malcolm Square as mostly elderly folks occupy the wooden benches. Some quiet, some voices were low while sharing stories and laughter with other old people. Others sit alone and gazing out at the world as content in their solitude. The scene we got here is one of peaceful coexistence of voices and silences that speak to the wisdom and experience of old age.
Then we got here a sea of white taxi cabs with their roofs like a blur of motion as they move slowly forward in the heavy Baguio traffic. Among them are private cars and amidst this metal jungle was a lone motorcycle rider who waits with his engine idling and helmet gleaming under the sun. He slowly weaves slightly looking for small gaps with that brief opportunity to move even an inch.
Lastly is this young couple sits side by side on a concrete bench in Burnham Park with their shoulders touching like a silent fantasy promise of togetherness. Before them is the lake stretches out and its surface a mirror reflecting the sky. They probably hold hands and their fingers entwined, as they steal glances at each other and smiles. The world around them lovebirds fades leaving only the two of them in their golden, stolen moment which they wish would last for eternity. 😍
