#972 - Monochrome Street Scenes for Friday.
Greetings lovely Hiveans and remember, every mountain is just a hill until you start to climb it. So take that first step and then another and another. Before you know it, you'll be standing on top of the world. The view is always worth the climb they say 😉.
And now moving on to our daily shots, in the heart of Malcolm Square is a nursing student with her white uniform a beacon of cleanliness, walks briskly with pride. Beside her on the right is a metro aide in her uniform a different shade. The aide's dustpan pressed against the concrete. They both move in parallel sharing the same space.
A gorgeous motorcycle sits idle on the roadside, its rider nowhere in sight. The engine was shut off, unlike the noise of horns and engines from the traffic flow behind it. A man in sandals and jeans walks nearby the bike. He moves slowly as cars inch forward eager to escape the standstill.
The roadside near Session road was a flurry of activity with people weaving in and out with each on their own mission and destinations. A lady with a goiter walks steadily among them with her head held high. Behind her is a younger woman talking with a vendor as she handed over money for a steaming plastic pack of boiled corn.
Lastly at Burnham Park is a place of relaxation and joy where families have their laughter and chatter filling the air. Some spread out picnics, enjoying their meals under the shade of trees while others simply under the sun. Children's giggles as they play badminton with their racket swings. The park's expansive space provides a sanctuary from the city's hustle, it is a place where time slows down, and peace of mind is restored.
