#954 - Vivid Colors of Baguio Streets for Thursday.
Happy Thursday, Hive fam! 🌤️ Today’s a perfect day to pause and appreciate how far we’ve come this week, not just how far we have to go. Small wins count. Kindness matters. And even on cloudy days, your lights makes a difference. Keep going but don’t forget to breathe. ✨ #ThankfulThursday #KeepShining
And now for our daily shots in colors, here's two elderly ladies in light jackets as they walk through Baguio’s chilly morning. Despite the cold, beads of sweat seems to show up on their foreheads as they follow each other. Heading straight toward Burnham Park, they move as proof that age is just a number when you’ve got mornings to conquer.
Under the pounding rain is a mother holding a small umbrella with her arm wrapped protectively around her little boy. She angles the umbrella to shield him and letting her own shoulder get wet. Their steps sync as they hurry towards their home driection with her love bigger than the storm. A simple moment but the kind that stays forever through a snap and shared here on Hive.
Here's an elderly woman bundled in a worn jacket sits on the overpass with her trembling hands stretching a tin can. Her cane leans beside her too, both a tool for walking and a silent plea for assistance. Passersby hurry past by her as she waits, hope and weariness shows in her tired eyes. The city is alive and flowing but her world moves at the pace of some kind of kindness.
Two men pause mid the crosswalk as they were caught between rushing cars as they wait for the pedestrian light. One of them grins swinging an eco-bag like he’s got all the time in the world, while the other scans the traffic in the opposite direction. They’re frozen in the city’s traffic rhythm, just two strangers sharing a fleeting which is an unscripted moment before the light frees them to walk forward once again in their own direction.
