When you make large swaps against diesel pools you may see a high price impact. This means that your order is so big that it's disturbing the price equilibrium and you're not able to capture the best ratio of tokens.Up until now there wasn't too much you could do about it. You could split the transaction up into 10 smaller transactions over time, but that takes a long time and is annoying to do. You could shrink the trade, but where's the fun in that. You could skip the trade and hope for a better deal later, but crypto gods hate you and the better price is only available on the trades you already took.

After considering the incoming feedback further, and with a desire to not interrupt valid services at the cost of limiting purposeful harm we are scaling back the plan to start. As of today, the focus is limited to market transactions for the BEED multi-tx fee. To start, which is now planned for 10 am Eastern on Wednesday May 28, 2025, as Monday is a US holiday, the multi-tx fee will only be required when an account generates multiple market buy/sell/cancel requests in the same block. Our longer term plan is still to roll out the other multi-tx fees for multi transaction behavior in a single block, but with longer notice for community projects, businesses, and services (approximately 90 days from now at the end of September 2025).

Hive Engine users, for the past several months Hive Engine has been experiencing a consistent spam attack. Malicious users are deliberately putting multiple transactions per block and spamming them from multiple accounts frequently in an effort to delay block processing and disturb regular use of Hive Engine. This has at times knocked witnesses out of rotation, delayed processing times, gotten RPCs off track, and caused other similar problems.

We have a new feature that we've added to dswap. It's the ability to DCA, which stands for dollar cost average. Essentially, you're able to spread out a large market order over multiple purchases over a customizable amount of time. There's lots of bots that function here, but they don't have tons of liquidity. So, if you try to hit them with a large order at once you likely can't get the best deal for your money, but if you spread it out over 10 transactions you'll get a better deal. Doing that manually is no fun. Having this tool do it for you will save you money.

My mother worked in donor relations for a private school. Her job was to find rich parents in the school and ask them to donate money. If they did she would write thank you notes and/or get the head of school to write thank you notes. She was very successful.
