Back with another PoE2 video, with commentary this time as I finally bothered to set up my mic and everything properly again. Also to not make the usual mistake where I don't check how the sound balance is before hand and recording in two different audio tracks now. Honestly the whole process currently is kind of obfuscated, first I record it in mkv on obs, but premier pro doesn't accept mkv, so I then have to convert the file into mp4 h264, but then premiere pro doesn't get both audio tracks. I have to then also extract both tracks and add the second audio file manually to premiere pro and then encode it one last time before it finally ends up on youtube. Not sure why I do this whole process, I could probably just record with 1 sound track using geforce recorder and put it straight up on youtube but it wouldn't be good for hearing it well, and my voice is generally hard to hear anyway so maybe it's worth the effort.
Anyway, I've been playing a bit more path of exile lately, learning a bit more about the items, fights, etc, what to look out for, how to craft the gear better, and in this video I kind of threw all of that to the side anyway cause I went for something I haven't played much - a 2hand weapon warrior. Was kind of fun but I can tell how squishy and easy to die I am. Will most likely try and switch things up here at some point before I push my luck too much, but for now this made for some fun and fast progression.
I've played these beginning parts quite a while since I've been stubborn about progressing as hardcore solely, meaning whenever a character of mine dies, I start over - even though the game does let you continue in non-hardcore mode after a death, but nah, what's the fun in that. xD
Let's see how far we can get with this warrior before I inevitably have to restart. Maybe I should do one video per day until the launch of my own game and see how far I can go without dying in this game.
