I finally got around to installing the actual claude code application rather than just the "interface" claude. Funny thing is I used the interface one to help me install the latter as it was giving me some issues using windows and probably also mostly cause I'm super noob at this stuff as I've never touched coding really. I installed it using cmd so it needed git as well but there were some issues with "pathing".

Either way, all done and ready to dive into it, but, I've kind of delayed diving into the real deal still.

I've been a bit busy with some other @holozing works, noticed what it is that Claude isn't really good at and decided to do those things manually myself instead, even if it requires me to learn a fair deal of photoshop.

At these prices, our funding towards holozing is barely even covering subscription costs for software we use. 😅

Either way, thought I'd mention what I've done so far and learned.

I've started some work on the holozing card collection set where we will be utilizing a lot of amazing artwork the community has produced over the years into a set with different card borders we've created. This will come out as digital at first with a potential crowdfunding campaign for a physical set and more issuance there if there's demand. Of course we will also be providing the artists royalties, those who wanna sigh up for it. Meaning they'll be earning a % off of every digital copy sold depending on how many of their artworks have been accepted into our alpha set.

With Claude I've been using it to preview and showcase all the artworks in a nice format so we can easier go through them all to categorize and pick if they fit better in the "full art" borders, in the creature borders and/or if they should also be included in the crafted card border art we have reserved for crafted items and captured creatures for the game. These will be cards that we won't be solely selling through alpha vials and upcoming beta vials, but ones that the community can create themselves by having gathering and crafting professions! Naturally however the alpha card design will remain locked based on how many vials get sold and how many cards get generated from them.

After that I started also looking back at our generative healer nft assets we have that haven't seen much progression in a long time due to lack of artists and funding. Although it is quite okay "as is", there's still some more assets we wanna add before we move forward with implementing the logic behind the generation. Claude helped us recommend some opensource tools to do so and how to think about the whole process along with pitfalls to avoid that generally generate some errors in the final artwork generation.

For those unaware, while we have the "base" looks of our 6 healers, the generative art project will make sure that no healer minted will look identical to another by giving them unique accessories and variations in many forms. For instance, I'll add an image below of what the base look is of the female ocean healer and then a rarer variation one could achieve by getting lucky during the mint:

The unique thing about our generative art project compared to the usual 10k supply ones one may find on opensea, etc, is that we will also be dealing with 6 different models; female/male forest healer, female/male ocean healer and female/male light healer which all have their own outlines and can't be intertwined. Furthermore this will also have a usecase straight off the gate, allowing players to use the healers in the game to heal and capture creatures, among many other things. So we are quite excited to see how this will unfold when we launch it outside of Hive and see if it at the same time starts bringing people back to our ecosystem since most of the other things will be here.

There's still some things up in the air of course, for instance registration on holozing.com (along with referrals working) for wallets and addresses other than hive keychain/hive wallets and the requirement to add a hive wallet to existing options along with creating and receiving a hive account to generate. We figure that if people pay for a healer mint and or purchase an alpha vial using their existing wallets, we will be able to offer them a free hive account then, in an effort to avoid the usual spam/bloat attempts some people like to squat all day whenever something is offered for free.

Anyway, off to get some more work done and figure the best way forward with some things that have puzzled us in the past. Quite happy with the role Claude has played so far and looking forward to see what more it can do in the future, hopefully also in the hands of our other devs in the team who are more knowledgable and can better oversee things the AI helps them with.
