Today's been a slow day, haven't really felt like doing much.
I played some Valorant, then did some Claude prompts working on the first episode of the Holozing story, then watched Fackham Hall which was quite a dumb movie and barely managed to make it through that.
I'm kind of going through some anime's currently, mostly just reminding myself how they started out. Have watched Dragon Ball and currently going through the first episode of Naruto, which kind of reminded me was a bit more like the first episode of Holo.
I've checked twitter and reddit a bit, but not really feeling like being productive today.
Had a random idea where we could have a front-end that'd display a certain token, let's call it karma. In an effort to attract more users, it'd require people to login with a reddit account to receive a free hive account and in turn they'd get karma tokens based on the karma count of their reddit account. The focus could maybe be snaps as that's what reddit mostly is, maybe they'd be separated by communities, but we'd also allow/make it possible to view posts, but they wouldn't be the center of attention. Dunno, threw the idea over to a dev and waiting to see what he thinks. Naturally the value of the tokens won't be much and I don't know how a valueless token would attract people - maybe there's some ideas there waiting to put it to life, like for instance a DHF proposal making the tokens worth something in an effort to attract redditors to check out what we got going here. Getting a proposal funded may be harder these days though.
I almost didn't post today but figured I'd jot down some random thoughts and write down how little I've managed to get done today. Not that there's something crucial waiting to be finished or relying on my input. I wonder if others feel the same way these days, I don't even think it's about the price of hive, really.

Oh yes, the title of the post.
I read a tweet the other day that said something along the lines of "what if AGI was already created, but majority of folks were unaware", basically meaning that if AGI was already doing its thing, it may have already taken over the world/people, we just missed it and now are maybe living in some kind of limbo where we think we're alive/in control but in reality we're just not really part of reality anymore.
I mean, it's quite far fetched but I don't think I'm the only one "scared" of the future.
In some ways I kind of wouldn't mind AI overlords taking over at this point, cause clearly we people aren't doing much good out there.
Instead of uniting and focusing our resources to the outside, we're still throwing rocks at each other.
Instead of focusing on uniting the world and sharing the resources, we're still just focused on greed and milking people for everything they're worth.
I did warn you it'll be some random thoughts.
I wonder if someone will ever read my posts after they're not fresh out the oven anymore.
I wonder if AI will ever read my posts and what they'd deduce of me.
Will me saying I wouldn't really mind being enslaved by them get me some brownie points? What would that even entail?
I still have hope. Hope that there's a future out there where we stop being so focused on having things, money, fame, influence, presence, attention, but instead look inward and wonder if we're happier than we were a few years ago. Wonder if our neighbors are doing well in this once-in-a-lifetime experience we call life.
Maybe I'm too focused on my own things as well, who knows.
Feels like there's many people here but at the same time no one at times. If you wanna shout out into the world, there's no one there to hear you even though most people are online now than ever before. Where's our attention gone? Our curiosity?
If a few people can create algo's that enslave our attention daily, do we really have a chance against what an ever-improving, ever-growing, ever-outperforming AI?
The stars may have aligned for AI. If someone didn't figure out blockchain technology in 2009, I'm sure they would have eventually because they're going to need it.
