The Yungas jungle, also known as Nuboselva or Tucumano-Oranense Jungle, is a unique ecosystem. Located at the eastern end of the Andes, this mountain jungle stretches from Venezuela to Argentina and is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. The topography of the Andes acts as a barrier to humid clouds coming from the Atlantic, causing numerous rainfalls. This phenomenon allows the development of a dense forest cover that extends from the base of the hills to the summits of the mountains, reaching altitudes ranging from 400 meters to 3,500 meters above sea level.
