This post is to say goodbye to a noble soul who left this world today
A baby cat (born 2 weeks ago) was brutally attacked by a male stray cat. I heard the noise, went out and found the little one hurt, bleeding on the pavement.
I held the baby in my arms, tried to keep it warm, but I failed to keep it alive.
It had wounds on its head and its back… I feel devastated, but at least I was able to offer it some warmth for its last moments in this brutal life
I had to go for a walk later, to try and clear my head
The sunset was dull and dusty, with a pale color. Just like my mood
The waves were massive, made me think that in life we will need to face everything
Happiness, Sadness, Fulfillment, Loss …
My little one, I am so sorry I could not protect you. But maybe you will be now in a whole better world.
And what I can promise, is that I will look after your mum; she tried to be there for you but it was not possible 😔
