Que puedo decir, era una guerra poderle dar la pastillas porque siempre la escupía o vomitaba, no hubo manera de dársela de forma oculta en algún alimento pero seguí intentándolo igualmente, luego intente con emulsión de nuevo y aunque se lo tragaba al rato vomitaba, así estuvimos todo este tiempo intentándolo no siempre con éxito, pero en los últimos meses Linda se ha vuelto mucho mas quisquillosa, no le gusta el contacto por lo tanto es difícil que se deje incluso acariciar, al punto que la última vez que intenté darle desparasitante fue imposible y terminé muy herida por sus arañazos.
What can I say, it was a real struggle to give her the pills because she always spit them out or vomited them up. There was no way to give them to her secretly in some food, but I kept trying anyway. Hasta que recientemente encontré en internet una tienda de mascotas que vendían un desparasitante interno en pipeta, lo digo con total sinceridad hasta ahora yo solo conocía el tratamiento para parásitos externos en presentación de pipeta, no tenía idea que existiera pipeta para los parásitos internos, leí lo mas que pude y vi que había una pipeta si el gato llegaba a los 4 kg y otra para gatos de 4 a 8 kg, así que pesé a Linda y me sorprendió mucho ver que pesaba 4,5 kg, así que pedí la pipeta acorde a su peso y llegó por servicio de encomienda en unos 6 días.
Until recently, I found a pet store online that sold an internal dewormer in pipette form. I say this with complete honesty; until now, I only knew of treatments for external parasites in pipette form. I had no idea that pipettes for internal parasites existed. I read as much as I could and saw that there was one pipette for cats weighing up to 4 kg and another for cats weighing 4 to 8 kg. So I weighed Linda and was very surprised to see that she weighed 4.5 kg. I ordered the pipette according to her weight, and it arrived by courier service in about 6 days.

La pipeta tiene el nombre de Meltra Spot On como pueden ver en las imágenes, por ser para gatos mas pesados contiene 1 ml, sus compuestos son Praziquantel e Ivermectina para combatir parásitos de tipo Nematodes y Tenias, obviamente esta indicado para felinos y la aplicación es muy fácil, solo hay se separar un poco el pelo de la nuca del gato y aplicar directamente sobre la piel, el pelo del gato debe estar seco y se aplica allí precisamente para que el gato no pueda lamerse el producto. Obviamente el precio es un poco elevado en comparación a una tableta, mientras que una tableta puede constar entre 1 o 2 dólares, esta sola pipeta costó 16 dólares, no obstante, para casos especiales como Linda que vomita las tabletas y además me rasguña si intento dársela, esta es una gran alternativa, no salí herida en el proceso y ella ni se dio cuenta que le apliqué algo en su piel 😊
The pipette is called Meltra Spot On, as you can see in the pictures. Because it's for heavier cats, it contains 1 ml. Its active ingredients are Praziquantel and Ivermectin to combat nematode and tapeworm parasites. It's obviously indicated for felines, and application is very easy. You simply part the fur at the back of the cat's neck and apply it directly to the skin. The cat's fur should be dry, and it's applied there precisely so the cat can't lick the product off. The price is a bit high compared to a tablet. While a tablet might cost between $1 and $2, this single pipette cost $16. However, for special cases like Linda, who vomits up tablets and scratches me if I try to give them to her, this is a great alternative.
