
Good evening my lovely friends. This is my first time of posting here and I'm glad to be here, i have been studying this great community for a long time now and I can beat my chest that I've learnt alot especially homemade healthy juice and smoothies.
I'm here to share my hibiscus drink recipe, hoping you all will try it, because this drink is a healthy one, which can boost your blood percentage and nourishes your body.
So, below are the main ingredients i used:
Hibiscus leaf_ 1 custard paint
Small sized pineapple π
Date_1 cup
Beetroot_1 medium-size
Garlic π§ 1 small bulb
Ginger - small sized
Clove 1/2 teaspoon
Salt_ 1 teaspoon to taste
Water_7cups


PROCEDURE ON HOW TO PREPARE IT:
Step 1__
I seive out the hibiscus leaf and washed it, washed the pineapple and peeled it too, but i didn't throw away the back i washed it very well and keep because I will add it to my drink. After peeling it i blended it, i also grated the date.

Step 2__
I peeled the beetroot, ginger, garlic, and clove as well, then i grated till it becomes like a pasteπ


Step 3__
After blending all the necessary things, i missed it all together with the hibiscus leaf, then i added water and 1 teaspoon of salt to taste, you can add any flavor of your choice too

I allowed it to boil for 15 minutes before bringing it down and sieve out the chaff, and yes my zobo drink is ready..i poured it on a basin for it to cool off before bottling it


When It cooled off i bottled it because I will put it on a freezer, for it to be served chilled π



After bottling it, i poured some on a glass cup to have a taste and guess what it was head slapping sweet πππ. You all need to taste it, the date i added made it rich and sweet to. I think i will try adding tigernut and more date to another recipe next time.
