Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.
Today I'm joining the Splinterlands Art Contest. I bring you a new work of art. This time, I wanted to make a decorative 3D pendant inspired by beautiful elements from the imposing and elegant card, Shadowcomb Duskrose, using the quilling technique, where I was inspired by the beautiful rose held by the maiden.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱
Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.
Para hoy me uno al Splinterlands Art Contest. les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, está vez quise realizar un colgante decorativo en 3D inspirado en hermosos elementos de la carta imponente y elegante, Shadowcomb Duskrose en la técnica de quilling, dónde me inspiro la bella rosa que tiene la doncella.

• Cintas para quilling.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Plantilla para moldear círculos.
• Cartulinas de diversos colores.
• Guillotina de cortar papel.
• Argolla de bisutería.
• Cristales de diferentes tamaños de bisutería.
• Pintura al frío color negro.
• Pintura metalizada al frío color oro.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pincel.
• Tijera.
• Colgante de tu preferencia.
• Quilling strips.
• Quilling needle.
• Circle template.
• Cardstock in various colors.
• Paper cutter.
• Jewelry ring.
• Jewelry crystals in different sizes.
• Black cold paint.
• Gold metallic cold paint.
• Extra-strong white glue (carpentry glue).
• Paintbrush.
• Scissors.
• Pendant of your choice.
To do this project, I used red and white cardstock and a paper cutter to cut strips of the width and length I needed.
• I started by taking a strip of thick red cardstock and cutting the edge in a wavy pattern.
• I took black cold paint and applied it to the entire wavy edge I had cut, letting it dry thoroughly before starting to work.
• Then I rolled it up with the quilling needle. After rolling up a piece, I began to make triangle-shaped folds, continuing to roll until I finished with the folds. We continued making triangular folds and rolling until we finished with all the ribbon. I loosened it a little to form a somewhat loose rose and sealed it with extra-strong white glue, then removed it from the needle.
Para realizar este trabajo utilicé cartulinas de color rojo y blanca, con una guillotina para cortar papel procedí a cortar las tiras del ancho y largo que necesitaba.
• Comencé tomando una tira de cartulina de color rojo gruesa, a esta procedí a cortar el borde de manera ondulada.
• Tomé pintura al frío color negra y apliqué en todo el borde que corte de manera ondulada, deje secar muy bien para poder empezar a trabajar.
• Luego procedí a enrollar con la aguja para quilling, luego de enrollar un trozo empecé a realizar dobleces en forma de triángulo, seguir enrollando hasta terminar con el dobles, seguimos haciendo dobleces triangulares y enrollando hasta terminar con toda la cinta, solté un poco para formar una rosa algo floja y sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte, saqué de la aguja.

• I took the black cold paint again and applied it to some points on the edge of the rose, leaving it to dry thoroughly.
• To make the leaves, I took the strips of white cardstock that I had previously cut to a width of 3mm. Using the needle, I rolled them up until I had used up all the tape. I removed them from the needle, loosened them a little until I had an open circle, and sealed them with extra-strong white glue. We will need four identical circles.
• I proceeded to mold these open circles into elongated leaf shapes.
• Tomé la pintura al frío negra nuevamente y aplique en algunos puntos del borde de la rosa, dejamos secar muy bien.
• Para realizar las hojas, procedí a tomar las tiras de cartulina blanca que corte previamente de 3mm de ancho, con la aguja procedí a enrollar hasta terminar con toda la cinta, saqué de la aguja, solté un poco hasta obtener un círculo abierto, sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte. Necesitaremos 4 círculos iguales.
• Procedi a moldee estos círculos abiertos, en forma de hojas alargadas.

• I took the leaves and applied several coats of gold metallic paint, covering them evenly. I let them dry, then took some black cold paint and added some details to the edges of the leaves.
• I proceeded to glue the leaves together in a single group, as you can see in the image. Once they were dry, I took the rose, applied a sufficient amount of extra-strong white glue, and glued it on top of the leaves. We let it dry thoroughly.
• To decorate, I placed a medium-sized jewelry crystal in the center of the rose and a small iridescent crystal on each leaf.
• I placed a jewelry ring on the tip of the first leaf. To finish, I added the pendant of my choice, a thick black snakeskin one with a parrot beak clasp and ring. This pendant would give the charm a touch of elegance with its colors.
• And so, we have finished this decorative 3D pendant that I made, inspired by elements of the character from the card “Shadowcomb Duskrose”.
• Tomé las hojas y apliqué algunas capas de pintura metalizada color oro, las cubrí de manera uniforme, deje secar, luego tomé la pintura al frío color negro y aplique algunos detalles en el borde de las hojas.
• Procedi a pegar las hojas en un solo grupo tal y como pueden ver en la imagen, al estar secas tome la rosa le apliqué una cantidad suficiente de pega blanca extra fuerte y pegué encima de las hojas. Dejamos secar muy bien.
• Para decorar coloqué en el centro de la rosa un cristal mediano de bisutería, y en cada hoja un cristal pequeño de tonalidad tornasol.
• En la punta de la primera hoja coloqué una argolla de bisutería. Para finalizar coloque el colgante de mi preferencia, contaba con uno de piel de serpiente gruesa color negro con su respectivo trancadero pico de loro y argolla, este colgante le daría a este dije un toque de elegancia por sus colores.
• De esta manera tenemos listo este colgante decorativo en 3D que elabore, inspirado en elementos del personaje de la carta "Shadowcomb Duskrose".
