Yesterday I told you about this match; it really is Turkey's biggest match. Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş are also world-renowned teams, but their match isn't talked about as much as this one. Last night I started watching the match with great excitement...
Should I admit the truth? I wasn't excited at all last night, I don't know why, but even while watching the match, it felt like any ordinary match between two teams, even though the winning team would win a cup, which is a big deal. It was as if I had a premonition that Galatasaray would lose 😂
A few weeks ago, there was a match between Fenerbahçe and @pusen's team, and after that match, I asked how they lost to Fenerbahçe because I didn't think Fenerbahçe was a good team, but with their recent transfers, it seems like the tide has turned. It was especially surprising to me that Guendouzi, who was transferred just two days ago, started the game and made an impact. Usually, players don't start their first game after a transfer, or at most, they come on as a substitute. They might not want to play in such a match because a bad game can negatively impact the start of a player's club career. That's why I think both the coach and Guendouzi deserve credit. It was a show of great courage.
As for the match, Fenerbahçe dominated from start to finish. Galatasaray only put pressure on in the last 10 minutes, but even then, there were no serious attacks, and I don't think there were any shots on target. A couple of long-range shots and ineffective positions, that's all. At least in the last 5-6 years, I haven't seen Fenerbahçe dominate Galatasaray like this. It was sad for me to see. I think the key to the match was in midfield. Guendouzi and İsmail dominated Galatasaray's midfield. They won every duel. Another thing that caught my attention was the players' confidence. I've never seen Fenerbahçe players so confident. For example, İsmail is a player known for making mistakes and getting flustered in important matches, but in this match, it was the opposite. At Galatasaray, Lemina, Eren Elmalı, and Davinson Sanchez made too many mistakes.
Galatasaray's attacking players were also off their game. Yunus Akgün failed to make a difference. Sane and Barış were also off their game. They couldn't get past their opponents one-on-one and couldn't put any pressure on the opposing defense. It's hard to say anything about Icardi because he never got into position. Perhaps he could have capitalized if he had been in a scoring position. One of the two things that stood out most in the match was how inadequate Galatasaray's bench was. Players who came on as substitutes, such as Ahmet Kutucu and Kaan Ayhan, caused dissatisfaction among the fans. Meanwhile, Nene and Talisca were coming on for Fenerbahçe.
Another incident involved the raincoats distributed to the fans. The stadium where the match was played was very cold and rainy, so the management of both teams distributed free raincoats to the fans. While the raincoats at Fenerbahçe were of high quality, Galatasaray's were disposable raincoats that resembled trash bags. This showed that Galatasaray's management had not prepared sufficiently for the match and, so to speak, did not take it seriously. Therefore, the side that deserved and wanted to win the match won. Hopefully, the players, management, and technical staff will learn the necessary lessons.

Gerçekleri itiraf edeyim mi? Dün akşam hiç heyecanlanmamıştım neden bilmiyorum ama maçı izlerken bile sanki herhangi bir takımla sıradan bir maç gibi hissediyordum oysa kupayı kazanan takım bir kupa kazanacak ve bu önemli bir şey. Sanki Galatasaray'ın kaybedeceğini önceden hissetmiş gibiydim XD
Birkaç hafta önce Fenerbahçe ile @pusen'in takımının maçı vardı ve o maçtan sonra Fenerbahçe'ye nasıl kaybettiklerini sormuştum çünkü bence Fenerbahçe iyi bir takım değildi ama son yaptıkları transferlerle rüzgar tersine dönmüş gibi görünüyor. Özellikle 2 gün önce transfer edilen Guendouzi'nin maça başlayıp damga vurması benim için çok şaşırtıcıydı. Genelde oyuncular transferden sonra ilk maça çıkmazlar ya da en fazla sonradan girerler. Özellikle böyle bir maçta oynamak istemeyebilirler çünkü kötü geçen bir maç oyuncunun kulüp kariyerinin başlangıcını kötü etkiler. Bu yüzden hem teknik direktörü hem de Guendouzi'yi tebrik etmek gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Büyük bir cesaret gösterisiydi.
Maça gelirsek Fenerbahçe maçın başından sonuna kadar üstün olan taraftı. Sadece son 10 dakika Galatasaray baskı kurdu ama bu sürede de hiç ciddi bir atak yoktu, sanırım kaleyi bulan isabetli şut da yoktu. Bir iki tane uzaktan şut ve etkisiz pozisyon hepsi bu. En azından 5-6 yıldır Fenerbahçe'nin Galatasaray'a böyle üstünlük kurduğunu hiç görmemiştim. Bunu görmek benim için üzücüydü. Maçın kilidi bence orta sahada açıldı. Guendouzi ve İsmail, Galatasaray orta sahasına üstünlük kurdu. İkili mücadelelerin hepsinde kazanan taraf onlar oldu. Benim açımdan dikkat çekici olan başka bir şey de oyuncuların özgüveniydi. Fenerbahçeli oyuncuları hiç bu kadar özgüvenli görmemiştim. Örneğin İsmail hep hata yapmasıyla ve önemli maçlarda eli ayağına dolaşmasıyla bilinen bir oyuncu ama bu maçta tam tersi oldu. Galatasarayda Lemina, Eren Elmalı ve Davinson Sanchez çok fazla hata yaptı.
Galatasaray'ın hücum oyuncuları da gününde değildi. Yunus Akgün fark yaratacak bir şey yapamadı. Sane ve Barış da gününde değildi. Bire birde rakiplerini hiç geçemediler ve rakip savunmayı hiç zorlayamadılar. Icardi için bir şey söylemek zor çünkü ona hiç pozisyon gelmedi. Belki gol pozisyonuna girse değerlendirebilirdi. Maçta göze en çok çarpan iki şeyden biri ise Galatasaray yedek kulübesinin ne kadar eksik olduğuydu. Oyuna sonradan giren Ahmet Kutucu ve Kaan Ayhan gibi oyuncular taraftarda memnuniyetsizlik yarattı. Bu esnada Fenerbahçe'de oyuna Nene ve Talisca giriyordu.
Bir diğer olay ise taraftarlara dağıtılan yağmurluklardı. Maçın oynandığı stat çok soğuk ve yağmurluydu bu yüzden iki takımın yönetimi taraftarlara ücretsiz yağmurluk dağıttı. Fenerbahçe'de bu yağmurluklar oldukça kaliteliyken Galatasaray'da ise adeta çöp poşetine benzeyen kullan at yağmurluklar vardı. Bu Galatasaray'ın yönetim bazında da maça yeterince hazırlanamadığını ve tabiri caizse önemsemediğini gösteriyordu. Dolayısıyla maçı hak eden ve isteyen taraf kazandı. Umarım hem futbolcular, hem yönetim hem de teknik ekip gereken dersleri çıkarır.
