Hello everyone. 😻 Did you miss me? Just kidding HAHA. Sorry if I’m only sharing this now—I’ve been busy preparing for my birthday. I even worked nonstop just to make sure everything would turn out well. But despite all that, I saw that everything I worked hard for was worth it. Are you ready to read something simple, yet filled with love for one another?

All women have been waiting for their debut for a long time and are happy because at this time they can do everything they want and will want. Legal age does not mean that you are getting older, but we can literally say yes, but at this age we should learn the things we need and do not need to do. This is a happy day because you need to be mature in everything; you need to understand life and responsibilities. For me, others who have not yet reached this age feel and are already burdened with responsibilities not only for themselves and family but also for studies. Even when the happiest day comes, always remember that you do not need to change yourself to be accepted by others; you just need to show what and who you really are. Yes, hobbies can change, but they should always be positive. And now I want to share with you my story of my 18th birthday, the happiest day ever because we completed celebrating it. ;)

Last November 20, it was my 18th birthday, and I am very thankful to our beloved god for giving me more blessings in life.

Let's begin. 😻

I told my boss that I couldn't come in on Nov. 20 because I was so busy and had a lot to do. My preparations were simple, and there were only a few guests. I invited my colleagues to come home after work because I was so close to them. Even though they were far from my age because they were old and had mothers, that didn't stop me from getting along with them. I respect everyone, and I even call them "momshiee".

My whole family went to Baclaran to go to church and give thanks because the time flew by, and after church, we went home because we had a lot to do and cook. 🥹. I just ordered another dish because we didn't have enough time. It was ₱1,800. It was still afternoon, so I had it delivered in the afternoon. Around 11 AM, my mom was already cooking while I was still too tired to move because my body was exhausted, haha.

But after a while, my mom called me to get to work and told me to fix my decorations so they'd be ready later. While I was thinking about what design or decorations to use for my 18th birthday, Ate Hasmin arrived to help me. She was tying the balloons while Me and mama was blowing them up. We were helping each other so we could finish and make everything look nice. But unfortunately, I ran out of balloons, huhu. So Ate Hasmin and I decided to buy more. We asked around at nearby party supply stores, but they didn’t have the same color balloons as the ones we were already using. We decided to go to Colours to see if they had them there. Around 12:30, we rode a jeep. It felt like we went around to every party supply store near Casimiro, but we still couldn’t find what we needed. I felt like crying from all the searching, but thank God we finally found some after walking around for so long 🥲. My phone battery even died at that time. The food I ordered was supposed to arrive at 2:30 PM, and luckily I had given my mom’s number just in case they couldn’t contact me. We got back home around 2 or maybe 3 in the afternoon,

and my order delivered na. We quickly helped each other again to finish everything. Ate also helped us. She even bathed me and helped me get ready because the celebration—or rather, the eating HAHA just kidding—was at 5. My guests were arriving at 5 PM because that’s the time they get out of work.So we waited while my mom continued cooking, and my dad prepared the speaker we would use for singing.

Earlier today, my sister and mom told me that a parcel had arrived for me. I panicked for a moment because I didn’t have any money to pay for anything, but it turns out they were just joking and pranking me. 😂 But that moment actually made me even happier when I found out who the parcel was from. It was a gift from my friends. Even though I’m far away now, they still haven’t forgotten me—especially my birthday. This is something we’ve always done for each other whenever one of us has a birthday. Thank you so much to my two beshyycakes, @itsmary18 and @mariajasmin. I love you both so much, and I hope our friendship never changes even though we’re far apart. I’m really thankful to God because despite the distance, our friendship has only grown stronger. We’ve faced problems, but we’ve always been ready to help each other. Thank you so much for the flowers—I really didn’t expect it. I almost cried HAHA. Love you😻.

We can’t measure the distance between us, but that will never be a barrier to true friendship. No matter how far apart we are, our bond as a barkada will remain whole and strong. Now that I’m officially of legal age, I’m ready to face whatever challenges come my way, because I know there are people who support me.

It was a simple celebration, but filled with so much love. That night, we just talked, laughed, and sang together with my momshies. I love all of you, including my family. Thank you to my sister for paying for the cake too 🥹. Thank you, Momshiee Bing, for the ampao, and also Momshiee Eve for the bag; it's so cute 😻. In this moment, I can truly feel joy even in the midst of all my tiredness.
