I remember @noomar suggested me to explore around the desert in this game I am playing to see if I can find some special mirages as he gets in his game. I decided to check around the desert in daytime to see if I could find some mirages. I didn't find any mirages, but I enjoyed exploring the desert both at daytime and at night as well.
The first thing I noticed in the desert was the detailed shadows, and I really like them. Just look at the shadow of the camel afar. It looks like another camel afar, but it was the shadow of my camel. It was a lot detailed in my sense.
I even tried to capture the shadow of the camel and the same from a closer look, and the Sun definitely helped me with this. The shadow came closer when I changed my direction of movement.
I didn't find any mirages, but I found an ostrich roaming freely in the desert. The ostrich was almost half the size of my camel, as you can see in this photo above. And I was thinking it would attack me, but it just ignored me like I was no one and nothing there.
Then I found a group of bandits passing the time in there. I went there, seeing the smoke from afar, and found the bandits who tried to take me down after seeing me there.
I took every one of them down, one by one, and when Basim was taking down the last one, this scene reminded me of an Indian famous film called Bahubali, where a close person of the protagonist attacked him like this at the end of the movie.
This is Northern Oasis, where I found ruins of a small town, I guess, and there was a point of interest that I decided to take care of, as I might want to get back into the desert fast later. So I synchronized there, to unlock the fast travel.
Before trying a leap of faith, I called in Enkidu to check around, and noticed there is a city in the desert afar, where I might go later.
I found a big-derp lake in the desert, and when I was flying as Enkidu above the lake, I noticed there is something below. So, I decided to dive underwater.
I had to dive underwater for a moment just to find I was in some kind of caves, some kind of forgotten caves, I'd say. So I kept moving ahead to see what was waiting for me in there.
I found the place that Enkidu spotted from the air. It looked like a sacred place, where I noticed some powerful weapons were kept.
I tried to collect the weapons, but I needed something called shards. I didn't have enough shards. So Basim mentioned I'd need a few more of these shards to collect the weapons, though I still don't know where to find them.
I left the place, hoping I would come back once I gather enough shards to collect these precious weapons.
