Time really flies and I can't believe it's already been a year since I turned 30. Sometimes I can't believe I'm so old buy young at the same time 😂, I don't know if it's the same for people my age. This last time has been wonderful for me, being in a lot of beautiful places, broadening my horizons and enjoying the nomadic life. This stage of my life will remain dear to my heart, and I can't wait to see what great things this new year will bring ❤️.
El tiempo vuela realmente y no puedo creer que ya haya pasado un año de que cumplí mis 30 años. A veces no puedo creer ser tan vieja pero tan joven al mismo tiempo 😂, no sé si les pasa lo mismo a la gente de mi edad. Este último tiempo ha sido maravilloso para mí, estando en un montón de lugares hermosos, ampliando mis horizontes y disfrutando de la vida nómade. Esta etapa de mi vida quedará guardada con mucho cariño en mi corazón, y estoy ansiosa por ver qué cosas geniales me va a traer este nuevo año ❤️.
Despite the fact that when I turned 30 I had a sort of crisis (:-p), turning 31 is something I enjoy. I like celebrations, big or small, and having the chance to get together with my loved ones. I also like taking stock and setting some goals, which, whether they are achieved or not, serve as a guide for the next steps. Last year I had wished for a lot of trips and new experiences and I had them, so my wishes were fulfilled.
A pesar de que cuando cumplí 30 me agarró una especie de crisis (:-p), cumplir años es algo que me gusta. Me gustan los festejos, sean grandes o pequeños, y tener la posibilidad de reunirme con mis seres queridos. También me gustan los balances y fijar algunas metas, que aunque se cumplan o no, sirven como guía para los pasos siguientes. El año pasado había deseado muchos viajes y nuevas experiencias y las tuve, así que mis deseos se cumplieron.
Since I turned 30, I've taken a ton of trips, including a shared motorhome ride to the south of my home country, Argentina, then a trip through the northwest where I got to visit province 19 on my list of 23 provinces to visit, a two-week trip across Bolivia on my first long-haul international trip, a six-month stay in Ushuaia, the end of the world, and a 17-day trip along Chile's Carretera Austral. Other things I haven't seen on my blog have happened since then, like going on vacation to Córdoba with my dad, a getaway to Paraguay a few days ago, and visiting the four provinces I was missing to complete my map of Argentina. It's been an incredible year, no doubt ❤️.

This year, my wishes are a little different than last year. Now that I've completed the travel goal within Argentina I had set for myself many years ago, I feel ready to do other things differently. Among them is furthering my professional career in Food Engineering, which has been somewhat neglected by this period of travel. I'd like to find a job that allows me to grow professionally, where I can continue learning and see how far I can go. Eventually, I'll put down roots somewhere, and my adult life will begin (:-p), finally completely independent from my family. I'm excited to see what happens with this; wish me luck 😃.
Este año, mis deseos son un poco diferentes a los de la última vez. Ahora que ya completé el travel goal dentro de Argentina que me había propuesto hace muchos años, siento que estoy lista para hacer otras cosas diferentes. Dentro de ellas está impulsar mi carrera profesional Ingeniería en Alimentos, la cual ha quedado un poco relegada por esta etapa viajera. Me gustaría encontrar un trabajo que me permita crecer en lo laboral, donde pueda seguir aprendiendo y ver hasta donde puedo llegar. Eventualmente echaré mis raíces en algún lugar, y comenzará mi vida adulta (:-p), finalmente independizada completamente de mi familia. Estoy emocionada por ver qué sucede con esto, deseenme suerte 😃.
Of course, travel won't be over forever; it'll just be a little less frequent, but with the advantage of having more money to do so. I hope this will also allow me to travel further and see other places across the ocean: I'd like to know what it's like on the other side. The good thing is that during this stage of the trip, I met many people with whom I still keep in touch, so I won't be short of local guides.
Por supuesto que los viajes no se terminaran para siempre, solo que serán un poco menos frecuentes, pero con la ventaja de contar con más presupuesto para hacerlos. Espero que esto también me permita llegar más lejos y conocer otros lugares cruzando el océano: me gustaría saber cómo es todo del otro lado. Lo bueno es que en esta etapa de viaje conocí muchas personas con las que aún tengo contacto, por lo que guías locales no van a faltarme.
