π₯ Salerno and Maiori - Memories from the Amalfi Coast by @lett
Hello dear travel lovers. In this post I want to tell you about the three-day journey I took to the Amalfi Coast last year. We visited the true gems of this region: Maiori, Minori, Atrani, Amalfi and most importantly, Positano. We walked along the Path of the Lemons, went through a tunnel carved into the cliff that connects two towns and reached some of the most beautiful beaches on the coast. We took a boat tour and observed how the local transport system works. I will describe all of this in detail in my upcoming posts. But first let me briefly explain what the Amalfi Coast is. It is an incredibly beautiful Riviera stretching for about 50 kilometers from Sarno to Salerno. The coast is washed by the Tyrrhenian sea and the nearest big city is Naples. In fact tourists do not come here only for Amalfi. Capri island and the thermal springs of Ischia are also nearby. Of course, Naples itself and Pompeii are very attractive too. I also find the Sorrentine Coast quite impressive. Still even among all these beauties, the Costiera Amalfitana is something special. I am sure everyone who has been here would agree with me. That is why, on our last trip to Italy, after Rome we came straight to Amalfi.

π₯ Lisbon - A Walk in Avenidas Novas by @larissalugo
Hello friends. Iβd like to tell you about another walk I took in Lisbon last year. This one was a bit different, because I wanted to see buildings that were very new, renovated and opened to the public only a few weeks or months earlier. So I began my walk at the museum campus that the Portuguese call Gulbenkian. It is connected to Calouste Gulbenkian, who made a huge fortune through oil deals. During the Bolshevik takeover he brokered oil shipments from Russia and thanks to this, acquired 15 paintings from the famous Hermitage collection. Today these works are displayed here. The museum is set within a magnificent park in the heart of Lisbon. The complex was created in the 1960s through the collaboration of about seven architects and landscape designers. Last year, a new pavilion designed by Kengo Kuma was also opened. Kuma is a world-famous, Pritzker Prize-winning architect. According to the staff, when he was asked what he would like to change in the landscape, he replied "Nothing, itβs already perfect".

π₯ Riding Argentina: Cactus Flowers, Andes Winds and High Passes - [ π¬π§ - π«π· - πͺπΈ ] by @terresco
We arrived in Argentina by motorbike from northern Chile, with the distant Patagonia as our goal. After discovering the warm and welcoming region of Jujuy, we were ready to cross La Rioja and then Mendoza. We had already travelled through these two regions the previous year, almost at the same time of year. Yet this time, crossing La Rioja held an incredible surprise for us. Everywhere, blooming cacti lit up the landscape and completely transformed the atmosphere. I suppose the flowering period is very short and that we were lucky, but if any Argentinians, or others, know more about it, it would be interesting to learn more.
