Hi dear Hivers in the Worldmappin community, today I will take you to a mountain that is more than 2000m above sea level, Ngok Linh. When the cold winds blow, Ngok Linh begins to enter the ripe rice season - the moment when nature and people blend to create a brilliant golden picture in the middle of the forest. In the cool climate all year round, the terraced fields stretching along the mountainside are all covered in a golden coat, shining in the early morning sun like soft silk strips hugging the hillsides. This is not only the harvest season, but also the season of rare pristine beauty in the Kon Tum highlands.
From afar, the entire valley at the foot of Ngok Linh seems to be lit up by the yellow color mixed with the green of the old forest. The layers of rice fields follow the terrain to form soft curves, making the ripe rice fields look like a work of art that nature and humans have created together. The fresh air and the typical cold of the highlands further highlight the purity of the golden season, attracting tourists, photographers and those who love to experience indigenous culture to explore.
Behind that brilliant scene is the story of the diligence and perseverance of the Xơ Đăng people, who have been attached to the Ngok Linh forest land for generations. They wake up early when the dew is still covering the leaves, take care of each rice plant according to traditional farming methods, preserving the lifestyle and long-standing agricultural knowledge. It is their calloused hands and hard work that have created rich crops, while contributing to preserving the unique cultural landscape of the highlands.
The Ngok Linh ripe rice season is not only a time to admire the natural beauty, but also an opportunity to experience the life of the indigenous community - where people live in harmony and perseverance with the mountains and forests. In the future, if invested in and exploited sustainably, the Ngok Linh golden season can completely become a unique cultural and experiential tourism highlight of Kon Tum, attracting more tourists to this vast land rich in identity.
Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. I hope you enjoy it and have a nice day.
