Cuando era pequeña, mis padres siempre decían que la magia no era única de los magos, ni se veía solo en los circos. Que cada persona tenía el poder de hacer la magia a través de la gratitud, sí y solo si las personas se lo proponían y, al cultivarla, haciendo gala de esta, desarrollándola como talento, se podían abrir cualquier puerta así tuviera cerrojo y lograr cosas ordinarias transformándolas en extraordinarias.
Una de las épocas más hermosas para agradecer será el preámbulo a la Navidad, ya que estamos en víspera de celebrar el nacimiento del redentor, el salvador; a través de él conocimos el amor, la bondad, el agradecimiento porque vino a salvar al mundo.
La puerta de la casa materna era mágica, época de compartir donde se derrochaba agradecimiento y más aún en la navideña porque mis padres tenían un talento que era innato, el dar las gracias por todo, que les corría por las venas; en cada mirada, cada sonrisa, se avocaron a enseñarlo en el hogar. Fue algo que llegó a esculpirse en nuestra piel para compartirlo lo más mínimo con los vecinos.
Rememorar esa bella época en compañía de la familia, donde hacíamos intercambios de sonrisas y abrazos, de regalos y, aunque fuera compartir un pan incluso con el vecino, era motivo de alegría; transmitíamos aliento al más atribulado corazón o sencillamente dar un abrazo a cada uno por la gratitud de compartir y el sencillamente existir. Cultivar el agradecimiento iniciará en las raíces del hogar; después lo gestionaremos para entregarlo al mundo.
Cuando niña, salía a pasear en compañía de la familia y estaba prohibido poner los pies sobre los cojines del carro, ya que mi padre manejaba un carro por puesto, y siempre decía: «Las personas que hacen vida en el carro merecen respeto y su ropa no se les puede ensuciar porque van a su trabajo y ellos son los que me ayudan a llevar el pan a nuestro hogar y debemos ser agradecidos con estos».
When I was little, my parents always said that magic wasn't unique to magicians, nor was it only seen in circuses. They said that every person had the power to perform magic through gratitude, but only if they set their minds to it and cultivated it, displaying it and developing it as a talent. By doing so, they could open any door, even if it was locked, and achieve ordinary things, transforming them into extraordinary ones.
One of the most beautiful times to give thanks is the run-up to Christmas, as we are on the eve of celebrating the birth of the redeemer, the savior; through him we learned about love, kindness, and gratitude because he came to save the world.
The door of my mother's house was magical, a time of sharing where gratitude was lavished, and even more so at Christmas because my parents had an innate talent for giving thanks for everything, which ran through their veins; in every glance, every smile, they devoted themselves to teaching it at home. It was something that became ingrained in us, so that we would share even the smallest things with our neighbors.
Remembering that beautiful time with family, when we exchanged smiles and hugs, gifts, and even sharing a loaf of bread with our neighbors was a cause for joy; we gave encouragement to the most troubled hearts or simply gave each other a hug out of gratitude for sharing and simply existing. Cultivating gratitude begins at home; then we can share it with the world.
As a child, I would go out for walks with my family, and it was forbidden to put my feet on the car seats, as my father drove a shared taxi, and he always said: “People who make a living in their cars deserve respect, and their clothes must not be dirtied because they are going to work, and they are the ones who help me bring bread to our home, and we must be grateful to them.”

De acuerdo con mi apreciación, no habrá algo más hermoso que agradecer, ¡wuao! Para algunos será hasta molesto que le reconozcamos; un amigo una vez me preguntó: «¿Qué tanto agradeces ?». «No tienes que hacerlo». En ese momento entendí que la palabra gracias en su vocabulario era inexistente y que no podemos dar de lo que carecemos, pero igual lo seguí haciendo, porque forma parte de mi identidad, de talento familiar.
Todo vendrá gestado desde el hogar; lo que se les enseñará a los hijos será lo que transmitirán. Para el que no sabrá cómo dar las gracias, deberá saber que todos tenemos el poder de cambiar los modelos de patrones familiares y, cuando lo descubrimos, ya no lo queremos soltar.
Al manifestar gratitud, algunas veces hasta quedamos impactados de cómo nos llegarán las cosas sin pedirlas, así de repente, ese vestido que deseamos, esa entrada al cine, a un concierto, el limón que faltaba para ponérselo al bicarbonato, ese dulce que deseábamos disfrutar y no teníamos con qué, y resultará que el universo movió sus teclas como magia y dijo: “¡Aquí fue!”.
¿Sabes? Funcionará como un imán, como un espejo, y la mente también jugará un papel importante porque atraemos lo que seremos capaces de dar, y llegarán las cosas; hagámoslo como prueba, pero eso sí, deberá nacer desde el corazón y activarla; si no, la magia sencillamente no se dará y seguirá su camino hacia otros lugares donde sí la llamaron.
El tiempo nos irá mostrando que el poder de cultivar la gratitud, el agradecimiento, serán llaves que nos abrirán las puertas y ventanas para dar y, mediante esta acción, el universo nos corresponderá. Funcionará como una especie de espejo; reflejará lo que somos desde nuestro interior, lo que seamos capaces de dar y compartir con el prójimo; será una de las formas de lograr el bienestar en nuestras vidas.
In my opinion, there is nothing more beautiful than gratitude, wow! For some, it may even be annoying that we acknowledge it; a friend once asked me, “How much do you give thanks?” “You don't have to do that.” At that moment, I understood that the word “thank you” did not exist in his vocabulary and that we cannot give what we do not have, but I continued to do so anyway, because it is part of my identity, a family trait.
Everything will come from home; what children are taught is what they will pass on. For those who don't know how to give thanks, they should know that we all have the power to change family patterns, and once we discover that, we don't want to let it go.
When we express gratitude, we are sometimes amazed at how things come to us without asking for them, just like that, out of the blue: that dress we wanted, those movie or concert tickets, the lemon we needed to add to the baking soda, that sweet treat we wanted to enjoy but couldn't afford. It turns out that the universe worked its magic and said, “Here you go!”
You know what? It will work like a magnet, like a mirror, and the mind will also play an important role because we attract what we are capable of giving, and things will come; let's try it as a test, but it must come from the heart and be activated; otherwise, the magic simply won't happen and will continue on its way to other places where it was called.
Time will show us that the power of cultivating gratitude and appreciation will be keys that open doors and windows for us to give, and through this action, the universe will reciprocate. It will work like a mirror, reflecting who we are inside, what we are capable of giving and sharing with others; it will be one of the ways to achieve well-being in our lives.

Gente bella de #Empowertalent, he tenido tantas razones para agradecer a Dios por tanto; Él es la guía hacia mi destino y a todos los que por diversas razones se cruzaron en el camino; unos siguieron, otros se quedaron. ¿Y cómo no hacerlo? Sí, al montar el árbol de Navidad, mi corazón se llenó de gozo porque él me permitirá una vez más vivir el milagro de la creación, el nacimiento del Niño Jesús, de compartirlo virtual o presencialmente con los seres que amo.
En la carta al Niño Jesús del año pasado algunas cosas se cumplieron y otras no, aunque por ahí quedaron unas pendientes; se dará cuando él lo disponga. El deseo más importante se dio y Lia Sophia, la hija de mi sobrina Rosalba, después de su operación; goza de una excelente salud, es una niña hermosa y valiente.
Después de un montón de tiempo pinté algunas de las paredes de mi hogar. Las decoré y cada luz que titiló me recordó que siempre, aun en tribulaciones, se colará un rayo de luz para decirme que todo valió la pena, que estamos vivos, y que habrá sendas razones para seguir viviendo. Tener la fe, la esperanza y la certeza de que vendrán tiempos mejores con abundancia que llegará desde todas las direcciones en el aquí y en el ahora será gratificante.
Los invito a cultivar la gratitud, a hacerla parte de sus días y particularmente en estas fiestas navideñas, compartir nuestro pan y el vino para que Jesús en su infinita hermosura los multiplique en sus bellos hogares como multiplico los peces y los panes.

Beautiful people of #Empowertalent, I have so many reasons to thank God for so much; He is the guide to my destiny and to all those who, for various reasons, crossed my path; some followed, others stayed. And how could I not? Yes, when I put up the Christmas tree, my heart was filled with joy because He will once again allow me to experience the miracle of creation, the birth of the Baby Jesus, and to share it virtually or in person with the people I love.
In last year's letter to the Baby Jesus, some things came true and others did not, although some are still pending; they will happen when He sees fit. After a long time, I painted some of the walls in my home.
