Between work, Christmas preparations, and a few setbacks —broken phone, outdated laptop, the graphic tablet that decided to retire, and not bringing a mouse from Cuba— I've been quite busy 😅. Nothing serious, everything can be solved with patience and time. I’m experiencing the typical adjustment of the first few months in a new country, but the important thing is that I’m still working, and that fills me with energy and comforts me.

Entre el trabajo, los preparativos de Navidad y algunos contratiempos —teléfono roto, laptop desactualizada, la tableta gráfica que decidió jubilarse y sin traer un mouse de Cuba— he estado bastante entretenida 😅. Nada grave, todo tiene solución con paciencia y tiempo. Estoy viviendo la típica adaptación de los primeros meses en un país nuevo, pero lo importante es que sigo trabajando, y eso me llena de energía y me reconforta.
Today I selected some self-portraits. Normally, I don't like taking pictures of myself; seriously, I can't stand being in front of a camera. I enjoy being the photographer much more than being photographed, haha. However, I set a goal for myself this New Year: to create a series of self-portraits. I’ll be showing you how I’m doing with that challenge.
The photographs I’m sharing today were taken at the Vigía Hotel, in Cayo Guillermo, within the Northern Keys of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba. And I took them doing exactly what I love most: dancing. I hope you like them.
Hoy seleccioné unos autorretratos. Normalmente no me gusta retratarme, en serio, no soporto estar frente a una cámara; disfruto mucho más siendo la fotógrafa que la fotografiada, jjj. Sin embargo, me propuse una meta para este Año Nuevo: realizar una serie de autorretratos. Ya les iré mostrando cómo me va con ese reto.
Las fotografías que comparto hoy me las hice en el Hotel Vigía, en Cayo Guillermo, dentro de la Cayería Norte de Ciego de Ávila, Cuba. Y las tomé haciendo precisamente lo que más me gusta: bailar. Espero que sean de su agrado.
