Buffed Noxus Domination! TFT Set 16

Since the new patch came out, I've been trying to get back into the game. With every patch, many compositions get stronger and most get weaker. Sometimes the patch team is even cruel enough to make some compositions unplayable. For example, you won't see anyone playing Piltover or Diana compositions right now.

This game, Baron Nashor visited us and said he'd give the last two remaining players 70 gold for an epic ending. That's truly an epic ending!

Since I started the game with Draven, playing the Noxus composition made a lot of sense. The Bringer of Ruin augment will give me a Sion and a Briar. On top of that, Atakhan will gain 2% ability power and 40 maximum health for every kill he makes. He's not very strong early in the game, but late in the game... I could be incredibly powerful.

I spent the entire early game on a winning streak! This was great for the augment I chose because Atakhan keeps stacking his load. If he has 10 stacks right now, that's an extra 400 health!

You know how I feel about Band of Thieves. Now that I have a strong composition, a pair of Thieves Gloves could make me even stronger and help me maintain my winning streak.

My economy was so good that I easily reached level 7 in the third phase and activated 5 Noxus. This also strengthens Atakhan. For those who don't know, the Noxus trait doesn't give your champions extra power; it just summons the Atakhan creature, and the more Noxus you have, the stronger Atakhan becomes.

Just for the record, by the end of the mid-game, Atakhan had 35 stacks. This means it had an additional 1400 health and 70% ability power. I hope you can grasp how powerful that is. An extra 1400 health is like giving a Bruiser champion Warmog's Armor.

Exclusive Customization is a good augment. It grants a lucky item chest and 10 gold. My current goal is to quickly reach level 9, activate 7 Noxus champions, and make Mel a 2-star champion.

I spent some gold at level 8 to keep my winning streak going. I need to make some of my champions 2-star so the transition process isn't too painful, right?

I reached level 9 at the start of phase 5 and activated the 7 Noxus trait. This was the right decision because my current carry isn't any champion—it's Atakhan! He's dealing exactly four times the damage of my highest-damage champion. Asking for more would be ungrateful, I suppose. Now, to unlock Mel, I need to make Ambessa a 2-star champion and ensure she dies.

Hmm, my opponent was playing Bard as a carry, and he looked really strong. I guess Bard wasn't nerfed in this patch, at least in terms of damage. But he has no chance against me because I spent my gold at level 9, and my composition is almost complete.

After adding Mel to my composition, Atakhan is no longer my only damage source. Along with 2-star Ambessa, Mel is also very helpful. If I get good items from Thieves Gloves, 2-star Fiddlesticks also has good damage potential.

I think another strong composition in this patch is Demacia. It's not because it's been buffed, but because other compositions have been nerfed, it stands out. It was almost beating me. It has 6 Luxes. If Lux reaches 3 stars, I'll lose the game, so I have to be careful.

When it came down to the last two players, my opponent only had 2 health left. So it wasn't a very epic duel because I had 100 health lol! Maybe if I could have survived one or two more rounds, I could have made Kindred 3-star. Maybe if I sold all the champions on my board, I could have done it, but it would have been easy to block, so I didn't do that.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. Noxus is so strong in the current patch that I finished the game with 100 health! So if the augment I chose appears, pick it without hesitation. See you in the next game!
