Ahoy, #Hive!
I’m excited to share a project that is part classic nostalgia and part Web3 experiment. I’ve just finished building Hive #Battleship. Fully functional, real-time multiplayer game where you can challenge friends, sink their fleet, and win a winner-takes-all HIVE pot.
🌊 The Game Experience
I didn't want this to feel like a static webpage. We’ve built a high-tech naval command center 😂:
- Live Multiplayer: Powered by Socket.io for instant, move-by-move combat.
- Real Stakes: Every match requires a 1 HIVE entry fee (processed via Hive Keychain). The winner claims the 2 HIVE pot instantly.

- Global Leaderboard: A ranking system that scans the blockchain in real-time to find the top "Commanders" in the #ecosystem.
- Game Design: Animated water grids, sonar pings, and tactical "ripple" effects.
I Didn't Code This
The most mind-blowing part of this journey? I am not a #developer. We are living in a new era of creation. I acted as the Product Architect, while my AI collaborator (Gemini) acted as the Lead Engineer. I described the vision, the logic, and the aesthetic, and the AI translated that into thousands of lines of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
If you have an idea for a #dApp or a #game, the "I don't know how to code" excuse is officially dead. You just need a vision and the right partner to help you build the "pipes."

The game is live and I need some brave captains to test the mechanics:
