Here's an update on how I'm doing in the NBA 2K12 season. After eight consecutive losses, I thought that losing streak would end there, but I had an excellent game against the Washington Wizards. It was a very close, exciting, and adrenaline-filled game.

Aquí le traigo la actualización de como me va en la temporada de la NBA 2k 12. Les cuento que después de ocho partidos consecutivos asimilando la derrota pensé que esa mala racha terminaría allí después de haber disputado un excelente juego ante los Washington Wizards. Un juego mu reñido, emocionante y lleno de adrenalina.
After making a few player trades to improve the team, such as bringing Kevin Garnett, Hamilton (an excellent three-point shooter), and Jakson Kidd to the Lakers, we started a very even game, finishing the first quarter 13-12 in favor of the Wizards. To be honest, they made a lot of mistakes and turnovers, which worked in my favor in that first quarter.
Después de hacer unos cuentos traspasos de jugadores en busca de mejorar el equipo, como por ejemplo la inclusión a los Lakers de Kevin Garnett, Hamilton un excelente tirador de tripes como también a Jason Kidd, comenzamos un partido muy parejo logrando terminar el primer cuarto 13 x 12 a favor de lo Wizards. A decir verdad, cometieron muchos errores y perdidas de balón, eso me favoreció mucho en este primer cuarto.
In the second quarter, Kobe Bryant's contribution was crucial. In the final minute, he led a comeback with a game-winning three-pointer that sent the entire crowd into a frenzy, especially since we were playing at home. We were so dominant that we forced the Wizards' coach to call a timeout with just 33 seconds left in the quarter. We managed to finish the quarter with a 23-21 victory.
En el segundo cuarto fue crucial el aporte de Kobe Bryant, quien en el ultimo minuto de este cuarto logro un remontada y un triple final que saco de sus asientos a toda la fanaticada, además jugábamos en casa. Tanto así que obligamos al director técnico de los Wizards a pedir tiempo faltando apenas 33 segundos en el reloj para culminar este cuarto. De esta manera logramos terminarlo por un marcador de 23 x 21 a nuestro favor.
The third quarter was disastrous. We hit a rough patch with missed shots, the Wizards stepped up their game, and had an excellent third quarter, finishing with a ten-point lead. They really combined well, hitting both three-pointers and layups under the basket. I don't know what happened, but I lost my grip on the game. We were turning the ball over, committing a lot of fouls, and missing about 80% of our shots, both from short and long range.
El tercer cuarto fue fatal, nos vino una mala racha de tiros fallidos, los Wizards apretaron los motores y se les dio un tercer cuarto excelente sacándonos diez puntos de ventaja al culminar el mismo. But hope returned in the fourth quarter, thanks in large part to Cobe Bryant, who truly shone in that game. We started hitting three-pointers, combining properly, and playing with more strategy and patience. I made precise adjustments and changes that were very significant. With only 57 seconds left, we were down by just 3 points. A few seconds later, we were still maintaining that 3-point lead. The Wizards called another timeout; in fact, they called it twice in less than 50 seconds. In the final seconds, we were on the verge of tying the game. We only had 1.9 seconds left after the final inbounds pass to try and sink a three-pointer to force overtime, but we couldn't.

Kobe Bryant's frustration was palpable on camera after giving his all in a game and losing again at home. It's a tough blow for a player, but that's sports, that's basketball—every millisecond counts. I'll keep trying to break out of this slump. I know it's going to be difficult to achieve anything good this season, but I'll keep trying.
La frustración De Kobe Bryant se apodero de las cámaras, después de darlo todo en un partido y nuevamente perder en casa, es un golpe duro para un jugador, pero asi es el deporte, asi es el básquet, cada milésima de segundo cuenta.
