I'm happy to share a new sewing project, one of my favorites: baby clothes. It's a two-tone flannel shirt for the little ones in the house, which matches a blue romper. The front is made of a fabric with a boat print, and the back is royal blue. The fabrics are printed pajama fabric and peach microfiber, both soft and breathable to keep the little ones comfortable. Hola amigos creativos y comunidad @hivediy, es un placer saludarles deseando que tengan un excelente y bendecido fin de semana, ya estamos más cerca de la Navidad, para mi la mejor época del año, espero estos días sacar los adornos y decorar el árbol, además terminar algunos proyectos navideños pendientes, para la cocina y el baño; me siento feliz de compartir un nuevo proyecto de costura que uno de mis favoritos, ropa para los bebés es una franela en dos colores para los pequeñines de la casa, que hace juego con mono azul, en la parte delantera use una tele estampada con barcos y en el posterior tela azul rey, las telas son pijamera estampada y micro durazno, ambas son suaves y frescas para que los pequeñines de la casa estén cómodos, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración.

The first step for this project was to mark and cut the patterns. On the printed fabric I marked the front and on the blue fabric the back. Then I cut both pieces and a blue ribbon seven (7) centimeters wide by fifty (50) centimeters long, which will be the bias tape for the sleeves.

To assemble the flannel shirt, I placed the pieces right sides together, pinned them, sewed the shoulders with a straight stitch, and trimmed the excess fabric.
Para emsamblar la franelilla enfrenté las piezas por el derecho, sujeté con alfileres, cosí los hombros con puntada recta y retiré el exceso de tela.
With the shoulders closed and the sides open, I attached the bias tape, right sides together. I pinned it and sewed it with a straight stitch. I like to attach the bias tape because it's easier to sew, and I make sure it covers several centimeters of fabric so that when I turn it right side out, everything fits together.

I was pleased with the result; the fabrics combine beautifully, even though they're slightly different in texture. They adapt well and have good stretch. The royal blue looks elegant with the boat-patterned fabric, which features soft tones like turquoise, yellow, and pastel pink. I absolutely love the print on this fabric; in fact, I'm planning to make other projects with the remaining fabric. It's soft, breathable, and has a lovely boat design. El resultado me gustó, las telas combinan muy bien, aunque son un poco diferente en la textura, se adaptan y tienen buena elongación, el color azul rey se ve elegante con la tela de barcos que lleva tonos suaves como turquesa, amarillo y rosa pastel, el estampado de esta tela me encanta, de hecho tengo pensado hacer otros proyectos con la que quedó, es suave, fresca y con un lindo diseño de botes, espero el tutorial les sea de utilidad para elaborar hermosos atuendos para los bebés consentidos de la casa.
