
After considering many things, I decided to serve one of special birthday cakes for my husband. This cake was the first cake I made for his first birthday after we got married. It wasn't extravagant, but rather a small surprise for when he came home from work that evening. This surprise wouldn't have been possible without a cake, right? So, the idea of making his favorite chocolate brownies while he was at work that morning inspired me. I didn't think too much about it and just looked up the recipe online to make it easier to prepare.

There was no grand celebration, just a surprise that I would present later, during dinner after he came home from work. I had secretly prepared three gift packages the day before. Initially, I was going to buy a cake, but after seeing that I had all the ingredients at home, I decided to try making it myself. Making it myself was much better in my mind. And it would definitely make him happier, right?.

Cooking Procedure
Before beating the eggs to start making the cake, melt the cooking oil with the chocolate until well blended. Wait until it cools before using.

Then prepare 6 eggs, add sugar and baking powder, and beat until the eggs are fluffy and white.




Once fluffy, add the flour and cocoa powder, then mix again until well combined.

Then add the baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then mix again. Then add the dark chocolate that has been melted with cooking oil, then mix again until well combined.




Pour half of the batter into a greased baking pan. Steam for about 20 minutes until fully cooked.


Once cooked, let it cool for a moment, then steam the second batch of batter. After everything is cooked, cut the top slightly so that the cake is more even. Then fill the middle with chocolate spread or any spread you like.




Add chocolate on top, then add roasted peanuts or whatever you have and decorate as you like.

This brownie recipe is very simple, doesn't require many ingredients, and is steamed, so for those of you who don't have an oven, I think this will be your best birthday cake. The use of cocoa powder and chocolate bars makes this cake very dense. I serve this cake in two layers, deliberately baking it in two separate pans so that the cake is taller and has beautiful layers. Initially, I was going to add buttercream, but when I went to buy it, it turned out that the only baking supply store in my city was out of stock. As a result, I had to think of a way to decorate the cake with melted chocolate, chopped roasted nuts, and wafer decorations that I bought at a small kiosk near my house.

The cake had a very soft texture and was just the right amount of sweetness, with delicious chocolate that wasn't bitter at all. I really liked the result, and when the celebration was a huge success, my husband was also very happy. That night, he was touched by this little surprise, because he had never celebrated anything like this in his life. Even before we got married, I had never given him anything, so he was completely caught off guard.
