Swamp Bird Egret Pics

I was finally able to get a break from work a couple weeks ago and not only flew the drone, but also stopped at one of the local swamp ponds for some bird pics. This is just the first set from dozens of great shots.

I always see a few birds fishing in these ponds when I drive through, but this week, there were hundreds of birds in these two little ponds. The wide pics only show half of them, because some other idiots just rushed across the street like they were going to a downtown meeting instead of slowly walking up behind the tree cover as I did to get into the right spot. Argghhh then after I took 10 minutes or so to get into the perfect spot for some photos, they rush across and scare half of them away!

And this one says bye bye. Amazing to see these giant birds fly by with their legs hanging down like something from Jurassic Park.

Lots more to come from this trip.
