On the grand evening of Kartik Purnima
Kartika_Purnima is the last day of our holiest month that is considered highly auspicious for spiritual cleansing, purifying our body, mind, and soul from negative energies, ignorance and the consequences of our past actions. So to celebrate the evening, every year a Bhajan Sandhya (an evening full of melodies of devotional songs) and a grand Dinner is planned for all residents and most of the residents join this function. This post is going to be a photographic journey of our celebration of the grand evening as a community, a true form of socialization catching up with everyone at one place.

Can you find me in these photos ? As you can see, our gorgeous ladies serve as keepers and transmitters of our culture and tradition, and their participation is central to the continuity and vitality of all our religious and cultural practices. In our culture, women serve as the primary caretakers of family and our traditions, passing down beliefs, customs, rituals and traditions to the next generation and play the most important role in maintaining our cultural heritage and identity.
