Oscar Mayer's Hot Doge, a single Dogecoin, has been auctioned on eBay for $15,001.
Oscar Mayer from Kraft Heinz, the American food giant. Auction began for Hot Doge on Wednesday with an opening price of $0.99.
The winner will receive the world's only 'Hot Doge Wieners' package. and cash equivalent to 20,000 dogecoins worth about $4,000.
A total of 76 bids were made, with the winner being the one who bid $15,001, with all proceeds going to Feeding America, a hunger relief organization that operates 200 food banks across the country.
Oscar Mayer isn't the first company to take advantage of the popularity of dogecoin Earlier this year, smoked meat supplier Slim Jim also hosted a dogecoin-themed marketing campaign.
