Un abrazo enorme a los miembros de Black and White. Esta comunidad hermosa que desde el primer día me llama la atención, pero hasta ahora es que me he decidido a participar.
Lo cierto es que me encanta la fotografía, pero no soy buena en ello, de todas maneras, me atrevo y las hago, muchas veces me queda bien, otras quizás no.
Para empezar a publicar por aquí, adoré la idea de fotografiar a Frida. Ella es la mascota del Centro Cultural Huellas, sede de la Fundación Nicolás Guillén en Las Tunas, Cuba, lugar donde trabajo, realizando la programación cultural del centro.
Sucede, que Frida llegó a nuestra institución cuando aún no había abierto los ojos, pensábamos que no iba a sobrevivir y todo está en verla, es una gata adulta, que ha tenido varios partos.
En estos días estuvo enferma y hubo que operarla de urgencia, por suerte hasta la esterilizamos y así la protegemos un poco más.
Pues bien, Frida es una gata que le gusta ser fotografiada, ahí es donde yo me doy gusto en el arte de la fotografía. Ella es blanca y negra, pero el lujo de hacer la foto en este estilo, me dio más perspectiva para que todo su alrededor fuera como ella y ver como quedaban las fotos.
Les decía que no tengo habilidades en la fotografía, pero me encantó el juego de los colores de la gata sobre el estilo blanco y negro, además que Frida se portó muy bien en las tomas.
Espero poder seguir viendo el mundo en blanco y negro ya que me encanta y poder compartirles más historias a través de las imágenes.

A huge hug to the members of Black and White. This beautiful community has caught my attention from day one, but it's only now that I've decided to participate.
The truth is, I love photography, but I'm not good at it. Still, I dare and take it; sometimes it turns out well, other times maybe not.
To start posting here, I loved the idea of photographing Frida. She's the mascot of the Huellas Cultural Center, headquarters of the Nicolás Guillén Foundation in Las Tunas, Cuba, where I work, managing the center's cultural programming.
It turns out that Frida arrived at our institution before she had even opened her eyes. We thought she wouldn't survive, but it's all in seeing her. She's an adult cat who has given birth several times.
She was sick a few days ago and had to be urgently operated on. Luckily, we even spayed her, and that way we can protect her a little more.
Well, Frida is a cat who loves being photographed, and that's where I find my true joy in the art of photography. She's black and white, but the luxury of taking the photo in this style gave me more perspective so that everything around her could be like her, and I could see how the photos turned out.
I told you I'm not skilled at photography, but I loved the play of the cat's colors on the black and white style, and Frida performed very well in the shots.
I hope to continue seeing the world in black and white, as I love it, and to be able to share more stories with you through images.
