Mis proyectos de costura últimamente toman mucho tiempo, por un lado, siento que no necesito tanta ropa y por el otro hay cosas que si bien las hago de una forma que me gustan si consigo mi talle y un buen precio prefiero comprarlas, así es como casi no estoy haciendo ropa para mí, pero también la facultad toma todo mi tiempo.
My sewing projects lately take a lot of time. Según mi Google fotos hace mucho, casi un año, desarmaba un buzo que hice hace mucho tiempo, según mi blog en 2022 fue cuando lo hice, aunque casi no me acuerdo de nada de este buzo, creo que tampoco fue tanto lo que lo use.

Desarme el buzo hace mucho, este tenía muchos errores, esto fue mejorando a veces cometo errores grandes de molderia, en parte por apurarme, pero a veces es desconocimiento de lo que hago, en este buzo el cuello estaba desbocado, que es cuando el cuello se sale, esto pasa por que se agrandó de más.
I took the jumpsuit apart a long time ago, it had a lot of errors, this was improving. Sometimes I make big mistakes in the pattern, partly because I'm in a hurry, but sometimes it's because I don't know what I'm doing. On this jumpsuit, the neck was unhinged, which is when the neck sticks out. This happens because it got too big.
Queria algo más de dos colores, la parte negra de la tela está intacta, la cintura ya no me gustaba y las mangas de color celeste tampoco, además de que estaban bastante estropeadas del uso o manchadas con pintura, así que desarme y me puse a cortar las nuevas piezas en polar blanco 🤍.
I wanted something more than two colors, the black part of the fabric is intact, I didn't like the waistband anymore and the light blue sleeves either, plus they were quite damaged from use or stained with paint, so I took it apart and started cutting the new pieces in white fleece 🤍.
Las piezas son las nuevas mangas, la cintura que se va a extender bastante, puños, bolsillos dobles y el cuello, pero no todo eso es en polar, el cuello es en rib al igual que los puños o esa era mi idea principal.
The pieces are the new sleeves, the waistband that will be extended quite a bit, cuffs, double pockets and the collar, but not all of that is in fleece, the collar is ribbed as are the cuffs or that was my main idea.
Las mangas las modifique en la misma tela, están largas desde el molde original, hace años tengo este molde y jamás lo corrijo jajaja a veces procrastino un montón pero bueno la vida misma, agregué margen y marque bien el largo y los puños, ya que como los iba a sacar y hacerlos en otro tela había que restar desde acá.
I modified the sleeves in the same fabric, they are long from the original pattern, I have had this pattern for years and I never correct it hahaha sometimes I procrastinate a lot but oh well life itself, I added margin and marked the length and the cuffs well, since as I was going to take them out and make them in another fabric I had to subtract from here.
La cintura la corte como una tira del doble del ancho, para así ya tenerla lista, solo se pine con una costura, esto está todo cosido con overlook.
I cut the waistband as a strip twice the width, so that it is ready, just pin it with one seam, this is all sewn with an overlook.
Hice los puños y el cálculo estaba mal jaja, me quedaron super cortos y anchos, así que tuve que cortar nuevos, pero como ya no tenía más rib decidí cortarlos en polar blanco, esta campera iba a ser para salir pero viendo todo el blanco que tiene va a quedar en casa.
I made the cuffs and the calculation was wrong haha, they came out super short and wide, so I had to cut new ones, but since I didn't have any more ribs I decided to cut them in white fleece, this jacket was going to be for going out but seeing all the white it has it's going to stay at home.
Ensamblé los nuevos puños sin problema, me probé ambos antes de ponerlos en la manga Y el ajuste estaba super bien.
I assembled the new grips without any problems, I tried both on before putting them on the sleeve and the fit was super good.
Lo más difícil son como siempre las terminaciones en cierte, para esta camperita use uno de los cierres que había comprado, así que eso estaba casi listo, pero me mande una macana y lo puse mal, a simple vista no se nota, pero es un error que se cómo arreglar.
The hardest part, as always, is getting the finishing touches right. For this jacket, I used one of the zippers I had bought, so it was almost ready, but I made a mistake and put it on wrong. It's not noticeable at first glance, but it's a mistake that I know how to fix.
Los bolsillos son dobles, y son re cómodos, hice un bolsillo cuadrado y uno con boca en diagonal, están solapados y cosidos entre sí por el borde, después están cosidos a la camperita.
The pockets are double and very comfortable. I made a square pocket and one with a diagonal opening. They are overlapped and sewn together along the edge, then sewn to the jacket.
El cuello lo puse al final corte mal el cierre y cuando la abrocho hasta arriba el deslizador sigue de largo jajaja me pase con esa macana, pero fue más distracción que otra cosa.
I put the collar on at the end, I cut the zipper wrong and when I fasten it all the way up the slider is still too long hahaha I went too far with that blunder, but it was more of a distraction than anything else.
Intenté usarla un día y la verdad que para salir es super calentita y me encanta, pero es muy blanca y yo tomo el transporte público jajaja así que se queda en casa, en un solo uso ya estaba super sucia, pero me sirve saber qué puedo hacer de ese molde de buzo una camperita, capaz compré tela de peluchito y haga una campera, pero necesito más tiempo, ya veremos cuando me lo hago para hacer una campera linda y usable en el día a día, pero por ahora esto es lo que hay jajaja.
I tried to use it one day and the truth is that it is super warm to go out and I love it, but it is very white and I take public transportation hahaha so it stays at home, in one use it was already super dirty, but it is useful to know what I can do with that sweatshirt pattern a little jacket, maybe I bought some fuzzy fabric and make a jacket, but I need more time, we will see when I get around to making a cute and usable jacket on a daily basis, but for now this is what there is hahaha.
