Bienvenidos gamers de Hive a otro gameplay, esta vez vine a Geoguessr, un juego donde nos dejan en el medio de algun lugar y debemos decifrar por lo que se puede ver donde estamos parados y colocarlo en el mapa. Quien este mas cerca gana y le quita puntos al oponente.
Welcome Hive gamers to another gameplay video! This time I'm playing Geoguessr, a game where you're dropped into a random location and have to figure out where you are and mark it on the map. Whoever is closest wins and takes points away from their opponent.
Este juego lo conozco hace tiempo, no se muy bien cuanto tiempo esta activo, pero las competiciones, ver profesionales localizando casi exactamente de forma aleatoria es excelente, mirando patentes de los coches, sus colores, las carreteras, y bueno lo mas "fácil" quizá seria las banderas... es verdaderamente divertido ver como nos equivocamos y aprendemos nuevas cosas, provincias, nombres, localizaciones simplemente jugando, un juego que podría sumarse al modelo educativo en escuelas para promover el conocimiento de los lugares y luego profundizarlos con su historia
I've known this game for a while; I'm not exactly sure how long it's been active, but the competitions—seeing professionals locating places almost exactly at random—is excellent. They look at car license plates, their colors, the roads, and well, the "easiest" thing would probably be the flags... It's truly fun to see how we make mistakes and learn new things: provinces, names, locations, simply by playing. It's a game that could be added to the educational model in schools to promote knowledge of places and then delve deeper into their history.
Lo unico "negativo" que puedo dejar de este juego es la subscripcion, si bien ayuda al mantenimiento del juego, esto hace que no puedas jugar con tus amigos, y que si o si para hacerlo debes de pagar. Aun asi, y sin decir que es caro (precio inflado) creo que vale la pena si es tu juego base y puedes darte el lujo de hacerlo, invite a amigos a jugar al juego y espero algun dia probarlo y ver como nos equivocamos (o acertamos) en el pais y en el lugar donde nos tiran.
The only "negative" thing I can say about this game is the subscription. While it helps with the game's upkeep, it means you can't play with your friends, and you absolutely have to pay to do so. Even so, and without saying it's expensive (the price is inflated), I think it's worth it if it's your main game and you can afford it. I invited friends to play the game, and I hope to try it someday and see how we get it right (or wrong) in choosing the country and location where we land.
