Last week I bought a mini portable air conditioner, because when I saw it and its price of $ 15 I felt it was not bad, I looked for reviews on the internet about the Arctic Air Ultra, which indicated mostly users that it was very good acquisition and that, of course not expect it to be as a powerful air conditioner, which to cool small spaces served, so I got down to work.
The equipment brings, in addition to the mini air, a cable with USB connection and 1 user manual, which comes in English; when you take it out, you can clearly see how well wrapped it comes, but I did not understand the manual very well, so I searched on Youtube how it worked, because it was only 7 days of guarantee, I had to put it to work from one. In it, they mention that you have to fill ¾ of pure water in the part of the tank, even brings as a tab that indicates how far to fill it and after that, connect it and turn it on, it is recommended that the power adapter is 5V, usually from 1.5A to 2.0A.
Anyway, when it turns on it blows like a little fresh air on the inside and the fan working great, I also realized that with the power button you can switch to the 3 speeds that brings the device, which are low, medium and high and when you are in the latter and give the button again, it will turn off. At this point, I felt that it did not cool anything, to be honest, so I kept looking for more tutorials on the internet, in which he recommended to put ice and little cold water, so the air would feel better and the filter would get wet and indeed, by doing so, the environment lowers much dryness.
One of the users said that if you wet the filter and put a ratico in the freezer, gave enough cold air, so I ended up trying this method (and even the manual tells you) and yes it works, of course, not like an air conditioner with compressor, but that gives freshness, gives freshness. They also indicated that if the environment was very humid, you would not feel anything, because it really is like an air purifier and helps to lighten those dry environments.
In the manual it is recommended to keep it clean, the filter should be cleaned weekly and to dry it, use the microwave for a few seconds and so on; likewise the tank, clean it with a brush, to maintain its efficiency of pure air..

-The portable air conditioner has the functionality to cool (in small scales), purify and humidify.

In my personal opinion, if I expected a little more cold air, I am not completely disappointed, because where we have it is a large space and if it cools a little, if I would have to try it in a much smaller and closed place to see. As for the device, the physical part, if it seems to be made of materials that could be easily damaged, it looks light, for the moment I have been careful to move it and all this, I hope it lasts long enough and well, although it is not rechargeable, if you have a power bank, because when the light goes out, it can be useful to pass in a better way the heat.

La semana pasada adquirí un mini aire acondicionado portátil, pues al verlo y su precio de 15$ que sentí que no estaba mal, busqué opiniones en internet sobre el Arctic Air Ultra, el cual indicaban en su mayoría los usuarios que era muy buena adquisición y que, por supuesto no esperara que fuese como un aire acondicionado potente, que para refrescar espacios pequeños servía, así que puse manos a la obra.
El equipo trae, además del mini aire, un cable con conexión a USB y 1 manual de usuario, el cual viene en inglés; al sacarlo, se nota claramente lo bien envuelto que viene, pero no entendía muy bien el manual, así que busqué en Youtube como funcionaba, porque solo eran 7 días de garantí, tenía que ponerlo a funcionar de uno. En ello, mencionan que hay que llenar ¾ de agua pura en la parte del tanque, incluso trae como una pestañita que indica hasta donde llenarlo y tras ello, conectarlo y encenderlo, se recomienda que el adaptador de corriente sea de 5V, generalmente desde 1.5A a 2.0A.
En fin, al encenderse bota como un pequeño aire fresco en la parte interior y el ventilador funcionando de maravilla, también me di cuenta que con el botón de encendido se puede cambiar a las 3 velocidades que trae el aparato, que son baja, media y alta y que cuando este en esta última y darle nuevamente al botón, se apagará. En este punto, sentía que no refrescaba nada, para serles sincera, por lo que seguí buscando más tutoriales en internet, en el cual recomendaba, que se pusiera hielo y poca agua fría, así se sentiría mejor el aire y que se mojara el filtro y efectivamente, al hacer eso, el ambiente baja mucho la resequedad.
Uno de los usuarios decía que, si mojaba el filtro y se ponía un ratico en el congelador, daba bastante aire frio, por lo que terminé probando este método (e incluso el manual te lo indica) y sí que funciona, claro, no como un aire acondicionado con comprensor, pero de que da frescura, da frescura. También indicaban que, si el ambiente estaba muy húmedo, no se sentiría nada, porque el realmente es como un purificador de aire y que ayuda aligerar esos ambientes secos.
En el manual se recomienda mantenerlo limpio, el filtro debe limpiarse semanal y para su secado, usar el microondas por unos segundos y así sucesivamente; igualmente el tanque, limpiarlo con un cepillo, para mantener su eficacia de aire puro.
Les dejaré las características que trae el equipo:
-El aire acondicionado portátil tiene la funcionalidad de enfriar (en pequeñas escalas), purificar y humidificar.
-Puede mantenerse funcionando hasta 10 horas, no se los puedo afirmar porque no he llegado hasta ese punto.
-Utiliza enfriamiento evaporativo para convertir el aire caliente y seco en aire fresco y húmedo.
-Tiene tres velocidades: baja, media y alta.
-Posee un botón que sirve para apagar o encender las luces de colores que trae (como un modo decorativo diría yo).
-Es silencioso.
-Se puede direccionar el aire.
-Ideal para espacios pequeños.
-Consume poca energía.
-Filtro de aire evaporativo reutilizable: Hecho de material de esponja.
En mi opinión personal, si esperara que echara un poquito más de aire frio, no estoy completamente decepcionada, porque en donde lo tenemos es un espacio grande y si refresca un poco, si tendría que probarlo en un lugar mucho más pequeño y cerrado a ver. En cuanto al aparato, la parte física, si pareciera de materiales que podrían dañarse fácilmente, se nota ligero, por el momento en tenido cuidado en moverlo y todo ello, espero me dure bastante y bueno, aunque no es recargable, si se tiene un power bank, pues cuando se vaya la luz, puede ser útil para pasar de mejor manera los calores.
