What's up my steemit people, hope everyone who reads this is feeling as excited as I am. Let me start off by introducing myself.
My name is Daniel Yanes, 24 years old borned in Caracas, Venezuela. Raised(12 years) in the queen city(charlotte), North Carolina where I was able to study until 10th grade in South Meck High School. After my mom had a terrible health incident(2 strokes) we decided to make a life changing decision. Move back to VENEZUELA. I know whoever is reading this can probly say WTF??? but at the time trust me it was the best choice and to be honest it made me realize a passion and a skill I didn't really know I have. I finished my high school here and after that started off my cooking career.
I'm a graduated chef from High Training Educational Institute(HTEI) where not only I had to work hard but also deal with the everyday struggle this piece of shit government has us living. I'm sorry just not a Chavez or Maduro fan. Currently working in the succulent "Pazzo Ristorante" where I crafted the Italian cuisine. Keeping in mind my roots I love cooking Venezuelan food!
I'm also using my English as a side job in the teaching area. It's funny thinking on it a couple years back I would have never imagined my life where it currently is. What's my life lesson here? well, simple: there is no losing only learning, no failure only opportunity and no problem just solution! Life is what you make it and even though life is really difficult here in Venezuela I'm going to make it what it is. The 1 and only, the best.
What do I plan on sharing with you guys? Well first of all we start with food porn!!! I plan on sharing all my culinary skills, my culture and the best food in the fucking world with you guys!!! I'm not the best but that's not the point. You may also see a post talking about life in Venezuela, just until I decide to leave my roots behind and keep traveling the world to learn more. My goal is to start off with a little bit of steemit and sharing it with you. I appreciate the opportunity given and will not take it for granted.
