Hola, queridos amigos amantes de las manualidades, después de tanto pensar que es lo que podía hacer relacionado con el deporte para participar en el concurso mensual de la comunidad, me decidí por un bordado. Me encanta este tipo de arte, pues mediante él se puede plasmar en la tela cualquier idea que se nos ocurra y lograr grandes resultados hermosos y delicados.
Elegí el fútbol como tema para mi bordado porque es un deporte que le gusta mucho a mi esposo @edeyglezsosa, así se lo dedicaría, pero representé a una mujer porque apoyo la idea de que los deportes no tienen género, pueden jugarlo lo mismo hombres que mujeres y el fútbol, no es la excepción. A continuación, te muestro todos los materiales necesarios para su elaboración y el paso a paso del proceso creativo.

⚽️Step by step // Paso a paso⚽️
I chose a large embroidery hoop so that the details of the drawing would be much more noticeable. The first thing I did was to mark the outline of the hoop on a sheet of paper to define the size I would use, then inside the hoop I made the drawing I had in mind. When I finished it, I transferred the drawing to the fabric using a carbon paper that I placed between the sheet and the fabric. This is the best technique I know to do the transfer. It is important not to move either the sheet or the fabric to avoid imperfections in the lines and that they do not come out shaky. As the lines come out clear, I went over them with a pen to improve their visibility and, finally, I placed the fabric on the frame.
Elegí un aro de bordar grande para que se notaran mucho mejor los detalles del dibujo. Lo primero que hice fue marcar el contorno del aro en una hoja de papel para definir el tamaño que utilizaría, luego en su interior hice el dibujo que tenía pensado. Al terminarlo, transferí el dibujo a la tela utilizando un papel carbón que coloqué entre la hoja y la tela. Esta es la mejor técnica que conozco para hacer la transferencia. Es importante no mover ni la hoja ni la tela para evitar imperfecciones en las líneas y que no salgan movidas. Como las líneas salen claras, las repasé con un bolígrafo para mejorar su visibilidad y, por último, coloqué la tela en el bastidor.
I started embroidering the whole silhouette with the black thread to define all its parts. I used only three strands so that the lines would be thinner. The soccer ball I did use 6 strands of thread so that it would have more volume.
Comencé a bordar con el hilo negro toda la silueta para definir todas sus partes. Utilicé solo tres hebras para que las líneas quedaran más finas. El balón de fútbol sí lo hice con 6 hebras de hilo para que quedaran con más volumen.
With white thread I embroidered the upper part of the neck of the pullover and a stripe of the bracelet I drew on the hand. The white parts of the ball I did not embroider, because as the fabric is white, it looked good like that.
Con hilo de color blanco bordé la parte superior del cuello del pullover y una franja del brazalete que dibujé en la mano. Las partes blancas del balón no las bordé, porque como la tela es blanca, se veía bien así.
With a thread tone, as close to skin color as I could find I bordered all parts of the body, such as arms, hands, neck and face.

I used various shades of blue to finish the arm cuff and hair plush, as well as the entire inside of the pullover. I varied the colors to simulate some shadows with a darker and lighter shade on top to give illumination. Embroidery is like painting on fabric.
Utilicé varios tonos de azul para terminar el brazalete del brazo y la felpa del cabello, así como todo el interior del pullover. Fui variando los colores para simular algunas sombras con un tono más oscuro y más claro en la parte superior para dar iluminación. Bordar es como pintar en tela.
With two shades of brown and off-white, I embroidered the whole part of the hair, starting with some highlights at the bottom, then I embroidered the rest of the hair with the dark brown, leaving some thin lines to illuminate with the light brown. Finally, with red thread I filled in the lips.
Con dos tonos de marrón y un blanco color hueso, bordé toda la parte del cabello, comenzando con unas mechas en la parte de abajo, luego bordé el resto del cabello con el marrón oscuro, dejando unas líneas delgadas para iluminar con el marrón claro. Por último, con hilo de color rojo rellené los labios.
