A Moody Day of Exploring the Ruins at the Top of the Hill | Spain
Last night, I was looking on Park4Night where I could go for the next day. I planned to go to the snow in the north but the weather forecast made me change my mind. I found a parkspot (P4N#25655) near a lake which felt like a fine place to spend a moody day and go for a walk in the Nature.
I arrived in the dark, around 22PM so I didn't get to see much from the environment and I actually didn't review that well where I was actually going as P4N isn't the best place for that. I was sure I could go for a walk and that the place would be in the middle of nowhere, all I needed to know.
The roads I had to drive to get to the place look promising for a good destination, but I didn't get to see them until next morning as it was dark at night

The next morning I woke up with the soothing sound of rain which made me actually very lazy, so before I left my warm, comfy bed to make myself a delicious coffee took a while. I pulled the curtains away and ohh! It looked stunning outside!
A bit later I decided to go for a walk to see what was out there. I saw a hill with some kind of ruins on the top and decided that it was going to be my destination for the day.
This trip I am better prepared with warm clothes and even a ski-jacket. Last trip I was always dressed like it was summer since I never intended to travel until winter
I don't know if it is because of the rain, but I have not seen a single other person. It was just me and the sound of the birds, which didn't seem to mind the rain and spent their day chirping beautiful melodies.
It is beautiful how the seasons seem to change with every area. The vibe of this place definitely felt like autumn, with the orange-brown leaves on the trees and the rain. It has something beautiful in its own unique way.

The destination of the day
Arriving on the top of the hill I found myself exploring mysterious ruins and wondering about their past. I haven't read what the history of the buildings is and I am glad I didn't, so my mind has all the freedom to wonder. Maybe the place I explored would have once been the bedroom of a newborn baby, or it was a church or a little olive farm, or maybe all of it. It is surely a place of so many unwritten stories. The piles of stones I walked where once the buildingstones of a place someone was living, now they are slowly turning into an empty pile of stones while history is slowly forgotten.
Here you can clearly see the ruins between the trees
The views along the road felt to me like they could fit perfectly fine into a movie. The rain and clouds gave the area such a moody atmosphere and it was a bliss to get to capture it with my lens and even though it was raining most of the time, I loved every second of my walk and I am glad that I ended up on such a stunning place!
Thank you for reading my blog! Do you personally like those moody days & moody views or do you prefer a little bit more sunshine?
