10 Big Link-Friendly Subreddits - Learning from Blogger.Com. HivePosh Weekly #21

2025-05-09T12:31:24
We’ve been sharing Hive links on Reddit for a while, and naturally, the question arises: how sustainable is this in the long run? To get a better sense of what to expect, I decided to examine how Blogger.com (also known as Blogspot) performs on Reddit.
The service was founded in 1999 as a platform for blogging and gained some popularity, but it was too complex for the average user and was eventually overshadowed by mainstream social media. However, it has never disappeared and continues to exist to this day. Since the very beginning, Blogspot bloggers have actively shared links to their content on Reddit - something we can learn from and apply ourselves.
I included not only the largest subreddits where I found Blogspot links, but also some smaller ones that seem to have potential for HivePosh.

r/collapse 🗣527K

We have discovered the sub long time ago but I can't remember HivePosh users often share there. But look how well it can perform (link):

r/WorkReform 🗣755K

A victory for one is a victory for all. Fighting for the Working Class
It looks like smilar to r/antiwork. I found a blogspot link with 1.6K upvotes there (link):

r/hiphopheads 🗣5.2M

@uwelang, how about hiphop? This sub seems to have a great potential (link):

r/AnythingGoesNews 🗣168K

We know this sub and it works well for Blogpost too (link):

r/LeopardsAteMyFace 🗣1.3M

'I never thought leopards would eat MY face,' sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party. [About] someone suffering consequences from something they voted for or supported or wanted to impose on other people.
Another sub for anti-Trump content (link):

r/Jewish 🗣75K

r/Judaism blocks Redditposh somehow but r/Jewish, looks, doesn't. Link:

r/lostgeneration 🗣381K

Another "everything is bad in the US" subreddit. Link:

r/GenX 🗣303K

Generation X was born, by broadest definition, between 1961 and 1981... ...This sub welcomes links, photos, graphics, memoirs, commentaries, stories, etc., for and about Gen-Xers
Not a huge share, but the sub has great potential - anything about the 1980s, including movie reviews and posts about music, link:

r/climate 🗣251K

A topic with huge potential, but today it has faded into the background, unable to compete with hotter issues.
A subreddit generous for links, aceppting blog links like blogspot:

r/climateskeptics 🗣43K

A sub with the opposite view.
Climate Skeptics: Trying to see through the alarmism. Questioning climate related environmentalism.
If you have a post focused on climate skepticism, sharing it in a perfectly relevant sub with few daily posts may be a good idea. They accept blogspot link - for example:

r/Sino 🗣107K

Sino: News, Information, Discussion on all things China and Chinese Related
We have a lot of posts about Chinese technology and AI. I've found several blogspot links in r/Sino, one of them:

Hope you've found some subreddits worth trying, dear reader!

Thanks for reading, and until tomorrow, when I'll summarize the results of the HivePosh contest #28! Cheers! 😎
