Someone recently told me that he doesn't believe that intelligent life exists outside of Earth 😑
According to data from the Hubble telescope, there are about 200 billion stars in our galaxy alone, and about 100 billion observable (with current tech) galaxies in the universe. The number of planets that the Kepler telescope is finding and will continue to find in our own galaxy seems infinite. Along with all of that, quantum physics tells us we live in a multiverse. Knowledge of those numbers followed by questioning the existence of life outside of Earth is idiotic.
