Our winners today

🥇 The Ancient City of Kaunos, Blending Seamlessly with Nature / Doğayla Bütünleşen Kaunos Antik Kent ( EN-TR) by @passenger777

On Saturday, as part of our weekend getaway, we visited Jezeří Castle. This place is a total hidden gem on the slopes of the Ore Mountains. The castle stands directly on the edge of a massive brown coal mine. 🏗️

🥈 The Chateau of Jezeří [EN/CZ] by @wahaceggy

Take a look at the stance of this structure, which seems to be defying the passage of time. With its powerful and imposing presence, it appears to be holding onto the traces of the past as if they were a badge of honor. The weeds sprouting from between the walls, meanwhile, reveal the structure’s harmony with nature. The name of this ancient city I came across during my Aegean tour is known as the Ancient City of Kaunos.

🥉 Museum and Botanical Collection – La Concepción Historic Botanical Garden 📷 Málaga – Spain by @avdesing

Of all the times I have visited the city’s historic botanical garden, I had never managed to visit its museum, firstly because it was under construction, it is a new addition to the garden’s history, and secondly because I have almost always gone on Sundays, and the museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays. So this is the first time I have been able to visit it and enjoy everything on display in the two buildings.
