Apologies for neglecting this place but I just can't escape the world of cryptos lately...
Time for me to have a moan about fishermen. I personally can't understand the attraction of standing around waiting for a fish to bite as a sport. I can understand the desire to kill to eat, I can also see the attraction of lounging around on a beach/by a river.
My reason for this outburst is down to this item which can only be described as an item of torture with it's 3 hooks
If it wasn't bad enough that one of these morons purchased this item but confirmation of the moron tag was given by the fact he/she discarded it thoughtlessly on our beach. Unfortunately this chap stumbled across it and got it's hooks caught in his body/wing culminating in having his beak pierced by the 3rd hook to render him totally helpless.
As you can tell from the first image, we managed to finally free him without too much damage to him (or to us with the pecking).
Sorry, got no picture but when we put him back down on the beach we saw him rejoin the flock and fly down the coast, lost height once or twice but still managed to keep in the air. To be expected really he's probably a little sore from the experience but great feeling to see him fly off to live his life
Seriously used to piss me off that I had to remove tangled fishing line and hooks from my dog when he was alive, if these morons really have to kill for pleasure then they should be more careful with their instruments of death.
Don't bother commenting if you fish for leisure nothing could ever convince me that you have a raison d'etre or that you are worthy of conversation
