Its exciting to start a journey on steemit. I am Vinay Parade, a commercial photographer working out of Mumbai, India and recently i moved on a wonderful farm in kodaikanal to live in the jungle, learn to farm, wander around, live sustainably, and more importantly watch clouds go by among other things..
I have been shooting fashion, product, food, architecture for over 15 years now. You can see my work at www.vinaay.in
However, no longer do i feel the want to take photos with a camera the way i did earlier.. what i see in nature can never be captured on a device. The Seeing is just so much more larger than trying to capture an image on a mechanical device. I still sometimes try to translate what i see into an image , coz thats the best way i know so far to communicate the beauty that surrounds us at all times.
I have been practicing yoga and a few osho meditations for a while now. It has opened up a whole different level of awareness for me. The more i know, i realize how little i know.
I read a couple of FAQ's and i think i need to introduce myself with a photograph with my handle and today's date. so, here it is..
For the last 5 months, i have been busy building a house on the mountain side. Will share some of my learnings and photos of the house.
This is my view right now..:) will get back with more visuals sooner.
