I heard that my heart is pounding today. BTS will hold a comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21. What a free concert! Fans around the world are already excited.
It is expected that about 200,000 fans will flock to the concert on the day of the performance. Gwanghwamun Square has a capacity of about 18,000, but I can't imagine the scale as it is 11 times that size. Therefore, it is said that the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Jongno-gu, and Hive are discussing ways to put their heads together and enjoy the performance safely.
What was particularly pleasing was that the performance could be broadcast live through the large electronic display around Gwanghwamun Square. Thanks to the electronic display installed at the Coreana Hotel or the KT Gwanghwamun Building West, it seems that you can enjoy the performance together even if you cannot enter the square. It seems that the whole area of Gwanghwamun is festive that day, because you can make the performance scene louder to create a more dynamic atmosphere.
Before and after the performance, there is a high possibility that additional events for fans will be held at Seoul Plaza, Yeouido Park, and Yeouido Hangang Park. Hive requested to create a space for fans to experience, and it's exciting just to hear. I remembered the 10th anniversary of my debut held at Yeouido Hangang Park in 2023. At that time, 400,000 people gathered with a photo zone and fireworks.
A Seoul Metropolitan Government official said, "We will hold various comeback celebrations in various parts of Seoul, making it a festival where citizens and BTS fans can enjoy together." On that day, the whole city will likely be colored purple. I hope March 21 will come soon
