¿Cómo están el día de hoy? Yo muy bien y muy feliz de estar otra vez por esta comunidad para comentarles que hace poco logré verme una serie que tenía bastante gana de ver y que me habían recomendado bastante la cual realmente es una miniserie qué trata de un crimen bastante peculiar que nos logra dar la otra cara de la moneda en ciertos aspectos cuando existen este tipo de situaciones. Sin más, les quiero hablar de la serie de adolescencia de Netflix, la cual cuenta con 4 capítulos hasta la fecha

I am very well and very happy to be back in this community to tell you that I recently managed to watch a series that I really wanted to see and that had been recommended to me, which is really a miniseries that deals with a very peculiar crime that gives us the other side of the coin in certain aspects when there are these types of situations. Without further ado, I want to talk about the Netflix teen series, which has 4 episodes to date.

Jaime es un adolescente de 13 años, el cual está pasando por una etapa complicada de la vida, la adolescencia. Desde el comienzo de la serie nos dan el contexto de que este adolescente, aparentemente sin razón, había hecho un acto horroroso, el cual no había sido quitarle la vida a alguien. Al comienzo no nos dan muchas razones ni muchas pruebas, pero poco a poco va mostrando diferentes imágenes y videos donde evidentemente se ve que este chico cometió este atroz crimen contra una compañera de su salón. Eddy y manda Miller son los padres de este chico, los cuales están muy desconcertados por esta situación y entran en pánico, sin encontrar reales motivos del porqué su hijo hizo tal acto
Jaime is a 13 year old teenager, who is going through a complicated stage of life, adolescence. From the beginning of the series we are given the context that this teenager, apparently for no reason, had done a horrific act, which was not to take someone's life. At the beginning we are not given many reasons or evidence, but little by little we are shown different images and videos where it is clear that this boy committed this atrocious crime against a classmate. Eddy and Manda Miller are the parents of this boy, who are very disconcerted by this situation and panic, without finding real reasons why their son did such an act.

A medida que avanza la serie, conocemos a otros personajes muy relevantes en la trama, como lo son la hermana de Jaime y los amigos del colegio. Aunque no parezca, estos chicos son más de lo que se espera y son claves para encontrar cosas como diferentes pruebas que demuestren la responsabilidad de Jaime sobre este caso y también el arma homicida. Por otro lado, mientras más avanza la serie, Jaime empieza a dar declaraciones bastante concisas y extrañas para su edad, lo que nos llega a hacer pensar, en algunos momentos, que realmente él no es el asesino y que se está haciendo responsable.
As the series progresses, we meet other very relevant characters in the plot, such as Jaime's sister and school friends. Although it may not seem like it, these guys are more than expected and are key to find things like different evidence to prove Jaime's responsibility on this case and also the murder weapon. On the other hand, as the series progresses, Jaime starts to give quite concise and strange statements for his age, which makes us think, in some moments, that he is not really the murderer and that he is taking responsibility.

Esta serie bastante corta, que no sabemos si va a ir estrenando más capítulos, ha dado mucho de qué hablar gracias a diferentes motivos, Uno de ellos es como vemos que por primera vez tenemos un caso donde la familia no es realmente mala no existió maltrato los padres eran amorosos, pero simplemente nos dejan ver como a veces este tipo de situaciones no son totalmente culpa del entorno de donde crezca esa persona. En el caso de esta serie, nos dejan ver cómo la sobreexposición que tuvo este chico a las redes sociales y a los foros de internet con gente que desconocían pudo llevarlo fácilmente a terminar haciendo esta atroz acción.
lThis fairly short series, which we do not know if it will be releasing more chapters, has given much to talk about thanks to different reasons, one of them is how we see that for the first time we have a case where the family is not really bad there was no abuse parents were loving, but just let us see how sometimes such situations are not entirely to blame for the environment where that person grows up. Algo que me gustó bastante es que no es la típica serie para verla y pasar el rato sin pensarlo desde el primer momento te sumerge en una atmósfera opresiva, donde la incertidumbre, la desconfianza lo impregnan todo. Evidentemente, la acusación hacia Jaime, es la Chispa que causa todo y desde aquí vamos viendo cómo se desenvuelve el entorno del chico, es decir, la familia y la comunidad que desde un inicio parece muy normal hasta que tú empieza a desmoronarse y a culparse entre ellos. Algo que me gustó es que desde un inicio te meten de lleno en todo lo que pasa, es decirte que cuentan todo lo que se ha visto y cómo ocurrió sin dar muchos detalles para lo largo de la serie, ir metiendo esos pequeños detalles que te dan más contexto del porqué suceden las cosas
Something that I liked a lot is that it is not the typical series to watch and hang out without thinking about it from the first moment immerses you in an oppressive atmosphere, where uncertainty, distrust permeate everything. Obviously, the accusation against Jaime, is the spark that causes everything and from here we see how the boy's environment develops, that is, the family and the community that from the beginning seems very normal until you start to crumble and blame each other. Something I liked is that from the beginning you get fully into everything that happens, is to tell you that they tell everything that has been seen and how it happened without giving many details for the duration of the series, go putting those little details that give you more context as to why things happen.

Algo que me encantó es que la dinámica familiar en esta serie es muy normal. Los padres se nota que son Súper amorosos y cariñosos con sus hijos, a los cuales los criaron con los mejores valores que pudieron. Trataron de darles todo y por eso le dieron acceso libre a internet sin esperar la realidad tan cruda que existe en internet para los niños. Aquí vemos la desesperación de un padre que luchó por creer la inocencia de su hijo contra todas las dudas y la angustia de una madre que intenta mantener la unidad familiar mientras le asombra la posibilidad, los carcome por dentro. Todas las interacciones entre las familias están cargadas de atención y silencios elocuentes, transmitiendo la fragilidad de un vínculo que se creía inquebrantable. Desde un inicio son una familia muy normal que tratan de criar a sus hijos lo mejor posible y se preguntan por qué con Jaime y las cosas sucedieron así mientras con su hermana todos fueron muy normales
Something I loved is that the family dynamic in this series is very normal. You can tell that the parents are super loving and caring with their children, who they raised with the best values they could. They tried to give them everything and that is why they gave them free access to the internet without expecting the crude reality that exists on the internet for children. Here we see the desperation of a father who struggled to believe his son's innocence against all the doubts and the anguish of a mother trying to maintain the family unit while being shocked by the possibility, eating them up inside. All the interactions between the families are charged with attention and eloquent silences, conveying the fragility of a bond that was thought to be unbreakable. From the beginning they are a very normal family trying to raise their children as best they can and wonder why with Jaime and things happened this way while with his sister they were all very normal.
Hablando un poco más de los amigos de Jaime es otro punto muy fuerte de la serie, ya que aquí había vínculos inquebrantables con amigos de años que poco a poco se fueron desmoronando por todo lo sucedido, buscando obviamente salvarse a ellos mismos. Parecía que de alguna manera se van creando pequeños bandos y surgen rencores, problemas y mucha incertidumbre por las simples preguntas de si existen aliados o cómplices de este crimen que resuena por todo el instituto.

Uno de los aspectos que más resonó con esta serie es que no hay respuestas fáciles y no hay blancos y negros. Realmente sabemos por todo lo que aquí pasó de que Jaime es el autor de este crimen, pero nunca terminamos de entender realmente qué fue lo que lo llevó a esto. Una explicación fácil que podríamos darle, es que los malos amigos que tuvo Jaime, gracias al internet, lo llevaron esto, pero ¿esa es toda la razón? ¿No existe más? ¿Qué lo hace ser diferente de otros adolescentes que también usan en internet de la misma forma?. Para mí, la respuesta es bastante simple, Evidentemente este chico sufre de bullying en su colegio, lo cual agravó todos sus pensamientos y lo hizo crear una personalidad muy insegura donde él creía hacer el eslabón más bajo en la cadena de toda la sociedad. No digo que esto sea la razón principal, pero es una razón muy importante que tomar en cuenta para entender un poco más de por qué sucedieron las cosas
One of the aspects that resonated most with this series is that there are no easy answers and there are no black and whites. We really know from everything that happened here that Jaime is the perpetrator of this crime, but we never really understand what it was that led him to this. An easy explanation we could give him is that the bad friends Jaime had, thanks to the internet, led him to this, but is that the whole reason? Isn't there more to it? What makes him different from other teenagers who also use the internet in the same way? For me, the answer is quite simple, Evidently this boy suffers from bullying in his school, which aggravated all his thoughts and made him create a very insecure personality where he believed to be the lowest link in the chain of the whole society. I am not saying that this is the main reason, but it is a very important reason to take into account to understand a little more about why things happened.
Además, aquí hicieron un muy buen trabajo con la fotografía bastante sombría, la banda Sonora inquietante y en general la grabación increíble que lograron conseguir. Gracias a la misma logra sentir la atención en cada escena en cada mirada en cada silencio la serie no busca un efecto fácil, sino que se toma su tiempo para desarrollar los personajes explorar la sutileza de sus reacciones lo que hace la historia aún mucho más complaciente y creíble anexando un estilo de grabación que te ayuda a entrar más en ella
Also, they did a very good job here with the rather bleak photography, the haunting soundtrack and overall the amazing footage they managed to get. Algo que para mí fue increíble y que me pareció un dato super importante de conocer este chico que en la vía real se llama Connor el cual es el protagonista de esta serie era su primera vez actuando en un papel tan importante y la hizo realmente increíble su actuación fue única y realmente te hizo creer como espectador que en algunos momentos no era Culpable, con sus dotes de manipulación tan implacables. Esta serie te invita a reflexionar sobre la fragilidad de la inocencia, el peso, la sospecha y las devastadoras consecuencias que pueden desencadenar cuando una confianza se rompe. Personalmente, espero que existan más episodios de esta increíble serie para que podamos conocer un poco más de todo lo que pasa por detrás de esta historia
Something that was incredible for me and I found it a super important fact to know this guy who in the real way is called Connor which is the protagonist of this series was his first time acting in such an important role and made it really incredible his performance was unique and really made you believe as a viewer that at times was not guilty, with his gifts of manipulation so relentless. This series invites you to reflect on the fragility of innocence, the weight, the suspicion and the devastating consequences that can be unleashed when a trust is broken. Personally, I hope there will be more episodes of this incredible series so that we can learn a little more of everything that goes on behind the scenes of this story.
