Greetings everyone, how is everybody doing this week? It's been a hectic week but I saw something amazing that is happening which is the best thing for people like me. Will share more of it later. Today's post will also include account growth and brawl report for PIZZA 2.
With Card Power (CP) requirements abolished, I will just share the cards that I get throughout the week from chest.

Summary
The number of cards gotten has significantly reduced because I was rather busy this week and with the SPS staking requirement, the number of focus points I gained per match is not high enough and require more games to secure 1 chest. Most of the cards that are showed above come from EOS. Been a while, but thankful for 4x GF Gladiator summoner.
End of Season Rewards
From 15 gold chest, I think the drops are rather decent especially this time, for the 4x GFR. SPS gotten also not too bad with good amount of potion as well for opening of daily chest. All in all, not a bad EOS outcome. I am still hoping to get some more of the Legendary Soulbound cards, hopefully they will appear soon.

Quite a good increase in staked SPS this week and I am closing in on reaching the silver 3 requirement for full reward. Another good brawl and some good SPS drops from daily chest would see me through.
Daily Focus Re-Focused
I've mentioned about a change in Splinterlands which will help me.
This change will be that daily focus reset will be aligned and reset at midnight UTC.
Instead of it dependent on when we claim our rewards, it is now a uniform reset for everybody. In the past, I have missed my chest timing especially when I am busy and delay by a good 10 hours, which caused my timing to keep going more and more eccentric and missing it even more.
So with this change, no more late claiming and snowballing. While it might shorten the time I have to play matches because I claim late, I still welcome this change as it is really good for people like me whom have work schedules that brings me away from PC/devices to play.
Brawl Report
Time for some brawl action! Let's take a look look at the matches I played this brawl. As usual, I am anchoring Fray 3 for my guild which is the Novice Chaos Legion Fray, so cards will be at lowest form without additional levelled up stats/abilities.

Double martyr lineup, one to boost front line, one to boost backline.
Outcome: Win! Works as usual with Quora powering through everything.

Melee match, why not add in a double gladius, capitalize Quora's double attack with 2 kinds of attack and Katrelba's double sneak melee attack.
Outcome: Win! The two Gladius cards wreck havoc and secured the win.

Not sure what got into me that I selected Life Splinter for this match. Placed sneak, opportunity and various elements.
Outcome: Lose. Opponent had multiple magic attack, my game plan of repairing my frontline did not work.

OK, when there is blast, I always choose exploding rats to do more damage to opponent lineup.
Outcome: Lose. One Chimney alone is enough to handle my whole lineup. It is a good idea from my opponent to use one big card to munch my whole lineup since there will be no effect of blast on him.

I choose a slightly faster lineup as I was expecting to face a fire splinter.
Outcome: Win! The ability to strike first was important to help secure the win.

I attempted the same strategy as the 2nd match, hoping this 2 cards can wreck havoc again.
Outcome: Win! Woohoo, the 2 of the Gladius cards did their magic again.

Silent summoner, so I just fitted sufficiently and hope best.
Outcome: Win! Quora never disappoints and swing in some good magic damage with Magi of Chaos.
Guild Final Tally
I am assigned 7 matches this brawl and I won 5 of them and lost 2. Good lessons from this 2 matches, one of it is a bad play from me, while a 2nd one was a brilliant move by my opponent to use 1 single card to not take effects of blast to win the match. I like the strategy and will keep in mind of it.
After weeks of trying, fighting, filling frays and all, we have finally climb back up to the top. Victory never tasted so sweet. Great job everyone. Let's keep up our momentum and do our best for the next brawl. Go PIZZA 2!
Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
So thankful that Splinterlands is making that change on the timer reset for focus chest. It really brings alot of convenience, especially when I don't have the opportunity to be on time to open the focus chest. Thank you Splinterlands team for always bringing good updates to the game and also help in our gameplay convenience.
