My understanding of reality has dramatically expanded as I gain information about consciousness. Research that demonstrates volition and memory in single celled creatures, experiments that demonstrate consciousness isn't any physical aspect of the universe, ie. isn't subject to physical laws, and that shows organisms are crafted according to conscious decisions by living cells, and not by instructions coded in DNA, have availed me a perception of what appears to be a veritable wilderness. An unexplored world of which we are part, that is the very person we each, and all, are, yet about which we know none of the metrics that enable us to understand what it is, who we are, how, why, or where we come to be.
Michael Levin has learned to interfere with bioelectrical networking of cells to produce novel physiological morphology in several species. This interference does not involve DNA, enzymes, hormones, or proteins at all, but rather only the ions that catalyze intercellular electrical signaling. This demonstrates that our physiological morphology is not any instruction set coded by the chemical structure in our cells, but is determined by the conscious agreement of our cells to follow a specific predetermined physiological plan. We don't regenerate limbs because our cells don't agree to, not because they can't. Levin's work shows that changing the bioelectrical intercellular signaling is all that is necessary to change that conscious decision our cells mutually agree to, and has induced limb regeneration in species that, like us, normally do not regrow missing limbs.
Other research I am only learning of today from a popsci video (start at ~5 minutes in to skip AI verbal introduction to the topic. I link to this video because I have not sought to verify any of the sources yet) that claims research has demonstrated experimentally that people revived after they have died briefly, flatlined EEG showing no brain activity, brain dead, still are conscious of events occurring during medical resuscitation, conversations confirmed to have occurred after they were dead, even to identify targets deliberately placed so that patients cannot see them during treatment from their physical body. Several different reports mentioned discuss coherence correlated to meditation by observers across scales from the frothing quantum vacuum to crime rates. I perceive that like Levin interfering with frog physiology, we can interfere with our nation's exigency.
We can only gain by acting on the intent to do so. By every metric I am aware of meditation and prayer provide health and emotional benefits.
Other work by Dr. Jacobo Grinberg-Zylberbaum, that separated subjects after they had formed a sense of each other's presence in a dark room, into rooms soundproofed and isolated by electromagnetic shielding, showed that sense of communion wasn't merely imagined, but was an actual connection of their conscious beings. When one of the isolated subjects experienced flashes of light, the other subject physiologically reacted. A vast body of anecdotal reports exist - and likely we all of us can relate such reports - that people have known that loved ones far away experienced a significant event, such as a traumatic injury. These reports betimes include that alert occurred at the time of the event, without any temporal delay, no matter how distant their loved one was from them.
These experimental results strongly suggest, if not show, that the laws of physics aren't applicable to consciousness, and that consciousness, not chemistry, determines our physiology, and may provide abilities we do not know we have. I have always consigned as anecdotal claims of the supernatural - ie. events or experiences insuperable by the laws of physics - because I could not verify nor quantify them, but faced with these data must concede they are not only potential, but consilient with what is known of consciousness. I don't know what conscious entities or powers may exist, but reproducible experiments have suggested that conscious entities and communication that aren't constrained by the laws of physics do appear to exist. While I have not made much judgement of claims that aren't supported by the scientific method presently, I have neither ever denied we are spiritual beings - although I was unable to well describe what that even meant. While I have personally experienced what appeared to me to be supernatural events, I have no basis to ascribe knowledge of how, why, wherefrom they arose, nor what or whom caused them.
This presently suggests to me that prayer and meditation are of enormous value, and that the sense of connection to life I feel isn't merely imagined. I had an epiphany when I was a young man that I was an integral part of the forest I was in, which I described at the time in terms of nutrient and gas exchange, but upon reflection was clearly much more than that because I experienced a spiritual component of that communion I did not then know how to categorize as such. I have also noted some agreement with discussion Chase Hughes publishes regarding interpersonal relations and personal self knowledge, that I feel now are more about our consciousness than our physiology. While he sometimes discusses parts of our brain and neurotransmitters, I suspect these are tools and symptoms of our consciousness, not causes.

Overall, this new confidence I have that our communion deeply and substantially informs our existence and experience also suggests our agreement to mutually benefit and defend our communities from hostile oppression is far more potent a force than mere politics, money, or bullets. As I noted during my recent eviction, many of the people that helped me weren't even known to me, nor knew me from Adam, but only by reputation good people had of me. Despite this they availed me enormous goodwill and provided help I never even asked of them.
While I can't provide a chart with numbers, nor any metrics at all, I am absolutely confident that goodwill, love, and affection are more powerful than we can imagine. It is certainly more than we can know, since we can't measure and describe our conscious communion accurately, or at all, besides detecting that it demonstrably exists. We can all recall even small gestures that provided us vastly disproportionate comfort. Neglecting such a potent mechanism creating non-specific, but enormously influential, relief, during what appears to be the collapse of the global order, civil war in America, and war at every hand, would be foolish negligence. Despite my sophomoric grasp of these things, I feel compelled to provide this information, as threadbare and shallow as my understanding is, to you all. We are plunged into incomprehensible exigence and what little understanding as I have strongly suggests the reality of our conscious communion and the import of our mutual goodwill is a superpower we all can generate and depend on to our mutual benefit.
Our divisions have been manufactured. Our disconnection is magnified by social media, our rancor and disgust with our political opposition deliberately inflicted and multiplied by clever manipulation and 'nudge' operations. This violence is being imposed on us, war on our people, and our sons and daughters, by spooks serving Machiavellian masters. We are the key to that war, our outrage and incivility to one another it's true source, and that is being done to us on purpose.
More than guns and butter, our survival may depend on our mutual goodwill. I do not mean to suggest we not secure means of production, but do mean to encourage everyone develop goodwill in good faith, because I am sure our gold and goats will be worthless without our good company and the love and affection we hold for one another, while the latter can meet our every need. I ask you to spend ten minutes once to pray or meditate on peace. I suspect when you do it once, you will want to do it again, so I only ask of you the one time, the first time, you unleash your communion with the conscious network we are part of to wage peace on Earth.
