I must admit that a couple of months ago, I had no idea that cryptocurriences existed. On of my colleagues had spoken to me about Bitcoin back in 2014, and I being the 16 year old that I was, didn't understand why someone would want a digital token. I was more focused on making real money.
3 years after that initial conversation, another friend of mine brought up the idea of investing in Bitcoin as an asset. It took ten minutes of research, and I was instantly hooked. Not long after, I discovered steemit ( a revolutionary idea in it's own right).
The reality is that digital currencies have the potential to revolutionize how we use money. We are in the process of creating a market based upon lines of code.
