>After a few bad days filled with anxiety and uncertainty, I feel recovered and reloaded with energies to continue this blockchain journey. My mind went a bit crazy with corona, the downfall of Steem, lockdowns all over the world. But it’s becoming clear to me now this is all a necessary stop to what we were doing in order to start changing patterns and perspectives to keep growing. Luckily my craziness lasted no more than a day and clarity is back. A few hours ago I enjoyed my first Discord party with the beautiful people of @naturalmedicine. I have to admit I’ve always been a bit closed to developing social relationships online (unless they had a productive purpose or a way to stay connected with people I know in the physical world), but this was just so much fun! We talked about interesting things, joked around and even played music!

You don't know what you don't know, until you know to go and look. And in a world of panic-posts, overwhelming statistics and carefully-cultivated fear, most people don't stop to THINK about what they're not seeing.
My brush with facebook censorship around coronavirus started from sheer necessity - as a small business owner in Thailand, our income has been decimated as everyone tries to #staythefuckhome. And so the logical extension of that was to put our new hand sanitizer products online, since, unlike Thailand, people are desperately short of hand sanitizer in many countries. As a solo mom with no possible government support from my birth country, my passport country or my country of residence (all different) and no child maintenance for 15 years now, online income MATTERS right now, to keep us in food & essentials like electricity & drinking water.

There was magic in the air, and our hearts connected immediately even though most of us had never met before.

I used to dream I was stranded in Australia, unable to get back to England to see my love. At the boarding gates in Delhi, she eyes my passport. We wonder what would happen if I was denied entry into the UK, and I had to get on a plane to Melbourne. Would we separate, him to his family, me to mine? For a moment I wish for this - I never imagined I'd be far from home as an apocalypse brewed. My mother nerves tug, the umbilical cord that is always joined to my son quivering. I miss my parents. Yet the doors slide shut on that possibility, and we land at Heathrow, and I am home. For this land is mine too - my ancestry is Slovenian, German, Yorkshire. Ten miles from my sister in laws a great uncle whose name weathers on a church memorial.
