Today I wanted to share 5 easy ways how you can improve your video preview playback speed in the Adobe Premiere Pro. From time to time I am shooting 4k vids and I only have MacBook Air with 8 GB RAM, so it makes my video editing a total nightmare. However, I have found a way how to speed up the video preview playback.
- Lower playback resolution
- Turn off "High quality playback"
- Set renderer to "Mercury Playback GPU acceleration"
- Turn off Global Fx
- Use Proxies
