Things have been very hectic around our house with Hubby over in Europe for work so it's just me running the household. Everything seems to have settled down so I can get a quick moment to update on here. I've permed my hair which changed my hairstyle which the kids didn't like at first >.<"
I've permed my hair before but that was before the little ones were born so for their life, they've seen my hair very straight and long. I decided to try out the digital perm as I've read it does less damage to the hair and can last longer depending on your hair type, weather etc. I booked a place in Osaka as I've read they can speak simple English and everything seemed to be on track when I arrived.
They told me it's around 3.5 hours for the whole treatment including a haircut. I had a huge lunch before my arrival so I was very prepared. The stylist first asked me what I wanted, discussed the length and curls and then got my hair washed. After the haircut, the team prepared the machine and chemicals for my hair. I didn't like the smell of the solution but it was quickly done.
The machine was a little warm throughout the session but it wasn't burning. It didn't feel too uncomfortable and the staff there will also check on me once in a while. After 4hrs, it was finally done. I nearly fell asleep on the chair because it took so long. So far, the hair is pretty nice, though I feel that it is very dry after the chemical so I've been using hair masks for each wash and finishing it off with hair repair leave in oil. The kids didn't like it at first,and said that I looked completely different. I like the change though the way I need to dry my hair after each wash will be different to how I used to do it. The whole treatment costs around $220AUD including the haircut which is way cheaper than what I would have to pay back home. What do you think of my new hair?
